2 The precautions before installation: As the capacitive control board and driver become more and more precision, our establishment with correct system is on being more important than before, please look over the following items in order to confirm all systems have already been got ready. Capacitive control board is a common design, means the control board can connect to USB or RS-232 interface, please confirm if it is correct that the capacitive control board and your installation are set up. To confirm in your system does not install the drivers of any other touchscreen controller,many drivers of the touchscreen will occupy COM Port or USB and not release, it will cause the driver does not work normally after installation, please completely remove the other drivers. Onetouch driver will catch the software setup of the display resolution to reach more accurate effect. Finally, please reconfirm if there is any other drivers of touchscreen, and the connection of touchscreen, PC as well the controller are correct. If no problem, you may start the installation of capacitive driver.

3 Install the capacitive driver: 1. Turn on the computer. 2. Execute " Setup.exe program from the driver CD or from the driver file. 3. If when Windows asks you whether you allow installing the driver that unproved, please accept and continue. 4. If you use the capacitive USB interface, Windows will search the suitable driver, please wait for until Windows finish this procedure. 1. Installation procedure: The picture that will welcome to install Onetouch procedure, confirms to continue installation, please click " Next" on the picture. 2. Software License Agreement To proceed the installation procedure, you must press accept at Onetouch license agreement. The driver offers customers who have Onetouch touch screen control board or control chip for free, any illegal use makes right law violating Taiwan and international copyright. It is not allowed to use the Onetouch driver at the third party s control board. Please careful read the contents of software license agreement, if agreed, please mark " I accept all of the terms of the above License Agreement " after confirmation, and then please select "Next";If not agreed, please leave the installation software.

4 3. Choose the type of the capacitive control board: Detect automatically(only suitable for RS232 interface of capacitive controller) : confirm the control card touchscreen and cable has already been connected correctly, click " Autodetect " to detect all COM Port automatically and confirm the control card execute normally. Set up manually: choose " Serial (RS/232 ) ". Click "Next " Choose COM Port. Baud Rate is 9600 Please mark Capacitive Controller to start the function of capacitive control picture;otherwise this function can not execute while performing Capacitive. Choose USB interface, click " Next". If you connect the USB interface to the computer at this moment, Windows will search the suitable driver, please wait for until Windows finish this procedure.

5 4. Finish installation step: After click " Finish ", will start to install automatically. After finish, please double click at the right below corner, can execute the control picture. Organization and calibration of touchscreen Execute Onetouch control picture Start the function key All programs Onetouch Touch Screen Control Panel t Double click at the right below corner, can execute the control picture. Screen Selection (screen display selection): If you do not use the multi screens, please skip this item. The system will display the quantity of the installing screen. Notice: Microsoft does not support multi screens on Win98 Choose the display you want to adjust, after display selected, the setup of the other displays will link with. When finishing one of the multi screens within configuration, choose the other displays to adjust their linking function.

6 Calibration (correct the calibration selectiion): Must calibrate before using the touch screen. Configure: Configuration selection will allow you choosing different calibration method in order to be able to calibrate accurately, refer the following " calibration selection" to choose the most suitable way. Test: Simple picture line procedure, test orients the position, soes as to ensure that touches the accuracy that the accusing of type screen makes a reservation. Configure (configuration): 3-point calibration: quick calibration, unable to correct;use this selection is to evaluate the linearity of the existing touchscreen. 4-point calibration: <preserving value>: Will compensate offset, and will revise some irregular linearity at the edge, the best general calibration. 7-point calibration: more accurate than 3-point calibration,strengthen the edge calibration but no correction function. 20-point calibration:: supply the much highest grade linearity and offset correction, use this selection in order to get the best calibration. Inset Calibration Targets<error selection and joins correction>: after marking and selecting, choose " Offset " edge error value, you can choose different mode while correcting the calibration. Click this to start the calibration. Click " Apply " what confirmed the selection of setup, press OK to apply and jump out the control picture

7 Calibration procedure: Press the center of every calibration and try possible accuracy. Onetouch calibration point is developed especially in order to help you calibrate more accurate When the calibration point displays on the touch screen, press at the center of every calibration point, until the calibration point shinks and the words at the right below corner change from Touch to Release, you can let go and execute next calibration point If the first point has not been touched within 10 seconds, calibration picture will leave automatically and get back to the control picture, this characteristic is to make sure the existing calibration picture, to avoid of the missing of the existing calibration data due to the error calibration or damaging the touch screen or bad connection with the computer. Calibration Testing procedure: This is the last picture of calibration procedure. Touch the screen and notice that this calibration point is under the finger tip or touch pen. If calibration point display under your finger tip directly, choose " Accept " selection. If calibration point does not display under your finger tip or touch pen directly, choose " Cancel " selection, can reselect the calibration selection and re-calibrate until you get an acceptable deviation, can adjust the offset, or try to make 4-point or 20- point calibration. Choose " Accept " selection and write down the calibration data. Choose " Cancel " selection, get back to the calibration picture, when getting back to the calibration picture, choose to " OK" or " Apply to save setting. Pay special attention, if you use multi screens to get back to " Screen Section "picture then choose another screen to calibrate, please carry on each calibration of touch screen according to the same procedure to calibrate Drawing lines testing: When finishing the calibration, can choose " Test " selection on the control picture. This is a very simple drawing line program, can understand if the touch screen can work normally. Use your finger tip or touch pen to draw the lines on the touch screen, please pay attention the lines you draw whether is the same as the touch screen displayed. Click " Quit " to jump out the drawing line testing picture.

8 Click Settings: Right-Click Area: this available area is larger than the touch point area, supposed the touch point is the finger tip, this right key area movement this district should than can movement order heavy to a bit, suppose this some movement figer tip, this right key district should be slightly a little bigger than the figer tip. Right-Click Delay<right button key selection time>: Set up the appearance time of right key, in order to execute the right key function. Double Click Area: Set up the regional ranges by double click. Double Click Speed: set up to open the file and double click, the necessary speed for the double click. Click " Apply " confirm the change selection, press OK to apply and jump out the control picture. Touch Settings: Touch sound: mark Enable touch sound " when touch the touch screen will send out the sound. Normal <normal>: Simulate standard mouse, choose normal will allow single touch, continuous touch, drawing lines, drag and right key selection (if the function of right key will start) Touch down<click and touch>: when touching, it will only recognize the function of pressing, if you choose this function, it cannot draw the lines or drag Only assert the function while pushing while touching, if has already chosen this function, can't draw the line or dilatory. Touch Up <awy from the touch>: When pressing and leaving, this touched information will send out, no function at the right button and continuous kicking. Click " Apply " confirm the change selection, press OK to apply and jump out the control picture.

9 Capacitive (Capacitive Interference Correction): Capacitive Controls Disabled<Unable to work normally Please be sure to install the capacitive control card. If not connect the capacitive control board to system or the connected capacitive control board does not calibrate year, it is unable to work normally. In order to let the capacitive touch screen can work normally, please be sure to join the capacitive control board to your system and calibrate. Capacitive (Capacitive Interference Correction): Use to press the capacitive touch screen in order to produce frequency, test and adjust the best touch response of capacitive touch screen, this frequency is confirmed, set up it as the best preserving value. Test Settings<Test Setup Button> : When make a touch interference testing and adjust, press the calibration point to save temporarily, the change of its value is not permanent saving, unless choose " Save Settings " to be a forever save. As correct the touch interference setup being a basic value, press " Save Settings " in order to save this setup to RAM, this change will become forever, unless will set up and save once again. Click " Apply " what confirmed setup selection, press OK to apply and jump out the control picture. Test Settings <Test Setup Button> : Touch interference testing and adjustment, touch and press but do not leave, like correction, touch the calibration point within ten seconds, it is ok after the calibration point to shrink.

10 remove the installation driver 1. Open the " newly-increased or removal program program <begin the function key Control board Newly-increased or removal program > 2. Choose " Touch Screen Controller Uninstall ", Rev 6.20cs " and click change /move selection, will execute Onetouch removal program. 3. Or execute tsun10.exe within " Common " folder at the installation file. <the disk code of driver on the CD-ROM is e, the route is e: \Common\tsun10.exe > 4. Appear the small window, inquire whether to remove and reboot, click " confirmation ". Question removal 1. Connection of the touch screen: Confirm the connection between the touch screen, the control bard and the computer is correct or not. For the detailed information of capacitive control card, please refer 2. Have not installed the driver: When inserting USB control board at the first time, the system will execute as per standard setup value; but it has not made a calibration yet, you must install Onetouch capacitive driver to calibrate to execute all function of the touch screen. Question Reason Solution The touch screen does not respond 1. Have not inserted the control board 2. The touch screen is not connected. 3. The driver has already been removed and 1. Check all the connecting wires, including from touch screen to the control board, and from the control board to the computers 2. Insert the control board into another connector 3. Reinstal the capacitive driver 4. Contact your seller or manufacture eliminated 4. The hardware fails The touch screen can move, but the cursor cannot work with the finger tip or touch pen in 1.
