3 IBM 750GB Dual Port SATA Hot-Swap (43W7580) Highest-capacity enterprise SATA drive IBM System x announces the addition of the 750GB SATA HDD capacity point to our family of enterprise SATA disc drives. Today's high-capacity server and storage arrays require hard drives designed for the job. With high reliability and 50 percent more capacity than other drives in its class, the IBM 750GB SATA disc drive is designed to meet the requirements of capacity-intensive business applications. IBM LTO Gen 3 Fibre Library Sled Drive The new IBM System x LTO Gen 3 Fibre Sled Drive (40K2575) is designed to bring plug and play functionality and enhanced 4 Gbps native fibre connectivity to our IBM 4U Universal Library (33614LX). The IBM 33614LX combines the performance of either LVD SCSI or now Native Fibre LTO 3 technology into a rack-optimized library that delivers leading cartridge density and modular scalability. Leveraging 4U modules, the 3361 can store up to 38 LTO 3 cartridges for a total capacity of up to 15.2 TB (30.4 TB compressed) per unit with the capability to scale up to 60.4 TB (121.6 TB compressed) in four modules. The IBM 4U Universal Tape Library can be ordered initially or later upgraded to include up to two LTO 3 LVD SCSI Drives, or up to two LTO 3 native switched fabric 4 Gbps Fibre Channel Drives per module. This allows for easy integration into your current System x storage environment and provides for future upgrade ability or redeployment alternatives. IBM LTO 3 Tape Drives can read and write IBM LTO 2 Data Cartridges and read IBM LTO 1 Data Cartridges. The IBM System x 4U Universal Tape library is ideal for small to midsized businesses, workgroups, or midrange SAN implementations. It combines highly reliable automated backup with exceptional capacity, performance, and features at an affordable price. The 3362 can store up to 22 LTO 3 cartridges for a total capacity of up to 8.8 TB (17.6 TB compressed) per unit.
