1 FULL INSTRUCTIONS BLUETOOTH DIMMING CONTROLLER READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. DANGER- To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is employed in the use of aquarium equipment. For each of the following situations, do not attempt repairs yourself; return the appliance to an authorised service facility or discard the appliance. This product is designed for indoor use and the illumination of aquariums only and will provide a good and safe service life, provided that these instructions are followed. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury or property damage. If you are in any doubt about the installation or operation of this product, please consult a qualified and experienced electrician. Check that the voltage and frequency rating on the product label is the same as your electrical supply before proceeding further. WARNING- To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following: 1. Disconnect all appliances in the aquarium from the mains supply socket before putting your hands in the water or maintaining the CONX3. Never pull on the cord to remove the plug from the socket, instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. 2. If the appliance falls into water DO NOT reach for it. Disconnect from the power supply before attempting to retrieve it. If electrical components of the appliance get wet unplug the appliance immediately. If the appliance shows any sign of water leakage disconnect from the power supply immediately. 3. To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or socket getting wet, position it to one side of the wall socket. A drip loop should be arranged for each cord connecting to a power socket. The drip loop is that part of the cord below the level of the socket, or connector, which prevents water travelling along the cord to the socket. Illustration Do not use the appliance other than for its intended use. The use of non-arcadia attachment or accessories is not recommended and may cause an unsafe condition. 5. Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to extremes of weather or temperatures below freezing. Illustration 1. DRIP LOOP

PHYSICAL INSTALLATION The CONX3 is connected between the LED driver and the LED luminaire on compatible Arcadia products.

2 PHYSICAL INSTALLATION The CONX3 is connected between the LED driver and the LED luminaire on compatible Arcadia products. In some instances an adaptor may be required when retro fitting to older versions of products. It connects via the 6 pin DIN plug and socket leads. LED STRETCH SERIES 1 DRIVER ADAPTOR (ABSTADAP) CONX3 ADAPTOR (ABSTADAP) LED ADAPTOR LEADS CODE: ABSTADAP Earlier versions of the LED STRETCH require the ABSTADAP adaptor to join the threaded connectors to the 6 pin DIN connectors on the CONX3. It fits between the driver and light unit. See illustration above. Ensure plugs and sockets are firmly plugged in. Ensure the drip loop is between the driver and the light unit so all electrical equipment is protected. LED STRETCH SERIES 2 DRIVER CONX3 LED The G2 LED STRETCH is fully compliant with the CONX3 and does not require adaptors. It fits between the driver and light unit. See illustration above. Ensure plugs and sockets are firmly plugged in. Ensure the drip loop is between the driver and the light unit so all electrical equipment is protected. 3 START SCREEN Tap settings to go to main menu. This screen also used for setting light levels. MAIN MENU Channel Names allows naming of channels. Programming set on/off times and minimum light level. Devices connection to CONX3. Bluetooth allows naming of multiple CONX3s.

4 DEVICES Lists all available devices within Bluetooth area. Tap DISCOVER DEVICES. Check tick box to connect device to program. Only one device can be programmed at a time. Tap back arrow twice to return to start screen. START SCREEN Tap ONLINE. Tap +/- buttons to set maximum light level for each channel. Some products will not have the maximum 3 channels. The LED STRETCH has 2 channels. Reverts to Auto when levels set. Auto runs programmed times.

Tap minimum value to set minimum light level percentage.

5 PROGRAMMING Sets on/off time. Tap time and enter time required. Light will dim up and down over 20 minutes to set times. Tap minimum value to set minimum light level percentage. Channel will then dim up and down to this percentage instead of zero. Useful for moonlight effect. Tap SAVE. Program is loaded on board device. CHANNEL NAMES Allows channel naming. Tap on default name. Enter preferred name. Tap SAVE.

6 BLUETOOTH Allows device naming. Tap on default name. Enter preferred name. Tap SAVE.
