2 Support Windows 8 and 8.1 The following software, which is included in Automation Organizer suite, now supports Windows 8 and 8.1 operating systems: WindLDR version 7.13 WindO/I-NV2 version 4.81 WindO/I-NV3 version 5.14 WindCFG version 1.73 Upgrade Procedure: Install CD Full-version AO 2.xx onto Windows 8 PC Use AO 2.31 for Upgrade

3 FT1A SmartAXIS Remote I/O FT1A SmartAXIS controllers now support Remote I/O functions 1 Master, maximum 3 Slaves Only 1 ladder program is needed in the Master unit. Slave unitsact as I/O on the network. Firmware 2.01 or greater is required which is included in WindLDR 7.13.

4 FT1A SmartAXIS Function Block FT1A SmartAXIS controllers and FT1A Touch now support Function Block Diagram (FBD) programming Users now have the option to use either Ladder or Function BlockDiagram to program the FT1A SmartAXIS FBD is a good alternative to ladder programming if you need to perform simple logic controls

5 FT1A SmartAXIS SCRIPT FT1A SmartAXIS controllers and FT1A Touch now support SCRIPT Programming In addition to Ladder and FBD programming, users now have the option to incorporate SCRIPT as subset instructions in Ladder or FBD programs. By combining SCRIPT into Ladder/FBD programs, the possibility to create complex controls is endless. SCRIPT is a powerful programming tool where users can create their own instruction sets. See SCRIPT PPT presentation for more details and instructions onhow to use SCRIPT programming.

6 FT1A Touch Maintenance Protocol FT1A SmartAXIS Touch HMI+PLC now has the ability to communicate with IDEC PLCs using IDEC native maintenance protocol. Users can now configure the FT1A Touch to communicate with IDEC MicroSmart Pentra or FT1A Controllers via Ethernet or RS232C/485. This ability allows the FT1A Touch to expand with additional I/Os. Ethernet or Serial

7 FT1A Touch Modbus RTU Slave FT1A SmartAXIS Touch HMI+PLC now has the ability to be configured as Modbus RTU Slave on the Modbus network. With Modbus RTU Slave now supported, FT1A Touch is now capable of supporting Modbus TCP Client/Server and RTU Master/Slave. Modbus RTU Master Modbus RTU Slave Modbus RTU RS232C/485

8 WindO/I-NV2: Protocol Update Support of ROC800 Series PLC (Mfr.: Emerson) When Input TLP box is checked, it allows expansion of the TLPs to support ROC Plus Protocol. If Input TLP box is checked, the TLP controls are enabled and the list above it is disabled.

9 WindO/I-NV2: Protocol Update Support of String Device and Data Type for Allen-Bradley Support String device in MicroLogix/SLC500(Full Duplex) and Ethernet/IP Driver Support String data type in Ethernet/IP(Logix Native Tag) Driver. 10 WindO/I-NV2: Meter Meter Settings Minimum, Maximum, and Range settings in Meter can be specified as Value or Device.

11 WindO/I-NV2: File Copy Function File Copy Function Sub folders can be copied by using the file copy function. If the source folder contains sub folders, up to 5 layers can be copied. [LSM30] If LSM30 is OFF, all files (including the subfolders with files)will be copied from source to destination folder. If LSM30 is ON, only the files (excluding the subfolders with files) will be copied from source to destination folder. [LSM31] If LSM31 is turned ON while copying the files, the touchscreen will complete the copy process of the file but the remaining files will not be copied.

12 WindO/I-NV2: Remote Control Operation Remote Control Operation Status Added LSM52 to detect remote control operation (Read only device address) Request:Customer wants to be able to control a button locally and prevent the remote PC from controlling the button. Solution:LSM52 is used to prevent control from a remote PC by setting LSM52 in the trigger condition. (Note: When user is not clicking anywhere on the remote PC, LSM52 is OFF. As soon as you click on a part/object or anywhere on the PC, LSM52 is ON.) Ethernet If you set the condition of a functional part (i.e. button) while LSM52 is off under Trigger Condition, the button can be triggered locally while the user with remote PC will not be able to access it.

13 WindO/I-NV2: Password Access Change Users Password Be able to change all users password in System Mode In System Mode, go to Initial Settings System Operation- Password Change the Administrator s password only. All users passwords can be changed.

14 WindO/I-NV2: Pass through Ethernet Pass-through from WindSRV WindSRV software can connect to port 2101 for direct pass through and communicates to the PLC without using the pass through tool Applicable for 5.7 HG2G-5FT, 8.4 & 10.4 HG3G, and 12.1 HG4G Series (including 5.7 HG2G Basic Series).

16 WindO/I-NV2 : Dedicated Password Separate password to open project and other operations Problem: If a customer wants to provide new HMI project data to an end user in a USB memory stick, they need to provide the Administrator s password so that the HMI program can be downloaded. However, if the end user knows the Administrator s password, they can not only transfer the HMI project, but alsoview or change their HMI program. Solution: To resolve this problem, the customer now has the option to add a dedicated password for opening projects or other operations. To assign a dedicated password in WindOINV2 software, go to Configurations-User Accounts and select the Options tab. Select this check box to password protect the following type of operations: Opening Projects Reuse Screens Opening Project after uploading project data Opening Project after uploading data from the memory card
