This product complies with Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 8 June 2011, on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. (Applicable in countries with recycling systems). This marking on the product or literature indicates that the product and electronic accessories (eg. Charger, USB cable, electronic material, controls, etc.) should not be disposed of as other household waste at the end of its useful life. To avoid possible harm to the environment or human health resulting from the uncontrolled disposal of waste, separate these items from other types of waste and recycle them responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. Home users should contact the dealer where they purchased this product or the National Environment Agency for details on where and how they can take these items for environmentally safe recycling. This marking indicates that the product and electronic accessories (eg. charger, USB cable, electronic material, controls, etc.) are susceptible to electric shock by direct or indirect contact with electricity. 3 01. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 02. PRODUCT STANDARDS TO FOLLOW It is important for your safety that these instructions are followed. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. The ELECTROCELOS S.A. is not responsible for the improper use of the product, or other use than that for which it was designed. The ELECTROCELOS S.A. is not responsible if safety standards were not taken into account when installing the equipment, or for any deformation that may occur. The ELECTROCELOS S.A. is not responsible for insecurity and malfunction of the product when used with components that were not sold by the them. This product was designed and manufactured strictly for the use indicated in this manual. Any other use not expressly indicated may damage the product and/or can cause physical and property damages, and will void the warranty. Do not make any changes to the automation components and/or their accessories. The customer shall not, under any circumstances, attempt to repair or tune the automatism. Must call qualified technician only. The installer must have certified professional knowledge at the level of electronic. He should also be able to perform electrical connections in compliance with all applicable regulations. The installer should inform the customer how to handle the product in an emergency and provide him the manual. This device can be used by children 8 year old or older and persons whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are reduced, or by persons without experience or knowledge if they have received supervision or instructions on the use of the device in a safe manner and understood the hazards involved. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children. Automatism powered by very low safety voltage, with electronic board/control board/control unit. Before installing, the installer must verify that the temperature range indicated on the automatism is appropriate to the location of the installation. In order to protect the electrical cables against mechanical stress, you should use conduit for the electrical wires, essentially on the power cable. PRODUCT PROFILE The unit is single door multifunction standalone access controller or a Wiegand output keypad or card reader. It is suitable for mounting either indoor or outdoor in harsh environments. It is housed in a strong, sturdy and vandal proof Zinc Alloy electroplated case which is available in either a bright silver or matt silver finish. The electronics are fully potted so the unit is waterproof and conforms to IP68. This unit supports up to 2000 users in either a Card, 4 digit PIN, or a Card + PIN option. The inbuilt card reader supports 125KHZ EM cards,13.56mhz Mifare cards. The unit has many extra features including lock output current short circuit protection, Wiegand output, and a backlit keypad. These features make the unit an ideal choice for door access not only for small shops and domestic households but also for commercial and industrial applications such as factories, warehouses, laboratories, banks and prisons. DETAILED PROGRAMMING GUIDE USER SETTINGS To add a card user (Method 1) This is the fastest way to enter cards, user ID number auto generation To add a card user (Method 2) This is the alternative way to enter cards using User ID Allocation. In this method a User ID is allocated to a card. Only one user ID can be allocated to a single card To add a card user (Method 3) Card number is the last 8 digits printed on the back of the card,user ID number auto generation To add a card user (Method 4) In this method a User ID is allocated to a card number. Only one user ID can be allocated to the card number To delete a card user by card. Note users can be deleted continuously without exiting To delete a card user by user ID. This option can be used when a user has lost their card To delete a card user by card number. This option can be used when the user want to make the change but the card has lost To add a card and PIN user in card and PIN mode ( 3 1 ) 1 Read card Cards can be added continuously without exiting 1 ID number User can be added continuously without exiting 1 Card number User can be added continuously without exiting 1 ID number User can be added continuously without exiting 2 Read Card 2 User ID 2 Card number Read card Card number Note users can be deleted continuously without exiting USER SETTINGS To Add a card and Pin user (The PIN is any four digits between 0000 & 9999 with the exception of 1234 which is reserved.) DETAILED PROGRAMMING GUIDE DOOR SETTINGS DOOR SETTINGS Relay Output Delay Time To set door relay strike time 1 ID number Read card 0-99 is to set the door relay time 0-99 seconds Door Open Detection Door Open Too Long (DOTL) warning. When used with an optional magnetic contact or built-in magnetic contact of the lock, if the door is opened normally, but not closed after 1 minute, the inside buzzer will beep automatically to remind people to close the door and continue for 1 minute before switching off automatically. Door Forced Open warning. When used with an optional magnetic contact or built-in magnetic contact of the lock, if the door is forced open, or if the door is opened after 20 seconds,the inside buzzer and alarm output will both operate. The Alarm Output time is adjustable between 0-3 minutes with the default being 1 minute. To remove the alarm To reset the Door Forced Open warning To reset the Door Open Too Long warning RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT Read valid card Close the door or or Read valid card or Master Code Master Code To disable door open detection. (Factory default) Disconnect power from the unit 2 Press and hold key whilst powering the unit back up 3 On hearing two Di release key, system is now back factory settings To enable door open detection 6 1 Please note only installer data is restored, user data will not be affected Alarm output time To set the alarm output time (0-3 minutes) Factory default is 1 minute 5 0~3 ANTI TAMPER ALARM Keypad Lockout & Alarm Output options. If there are 10 invalid cards or 10 incorrect PIN numbers in a 10 minute period either the keypad will lockout for 10 minutes or both the alarm and the inside buzzer will operate for 10 minutes, depending on the option selected below. The unit uses a LDR (light dependent resistor) as an anti tamper alarm. If the keypad is removed from the cover then the tamper alarm will operate. Normal status: No keypad lockout or alarm (factory default) 7 0 (Factory default setting) Keypad Lockout 7 1 Alarm and inside buzzer operate 7 2 6A 6B
