Each channel will be equipped with 1 or 2 precision pressure sensors and its own controller module. An optional barometric reference allows switching between absolute and gauge mode. Areas of application With up to 2 independent channels and up to 2 Sensors per channel, the CPC6000 offers a suitable solution for any calibration task, especially over a very wide overall range or even to perform two different calibrations at the same time. Moreover, with a delta function option, the user can also display the result of Channel A-B or B-A. This option is useful for calibration of differential transducers at line pressure. Functionality A colour touch-screen, combined with a very user-friendly menu, guarantees maximum operator convenience, and all this is available in several different languages. In addition to specifying a certain pressure set-point either by entering it via the touch-screen or sending it via the communications interface, the pressure can also be changed in defined, programmable step-sizes by using the STEP keys (up/down). Moreover, the user can also easily create extensive test programs using the internal function Program. Software WIKA EasyCal calibration and documentation software makes calibrating any type of pressure measuring instrument easy and enables the simple production of calibration certificates; or the customer can create his own test programs for example, with the help of LabVIEW software. Complete testing and calibration systems There is an IEEE-488.1, an Ethernet and a RS-232 interface for communication with other instruments, and thus the instrument can be integrated into an existing system, or, on request, customised mobile or stationary test systems can be engineered. 4 Modular design of the hardware Due to its modular design, the CPC6000 brings a high degree of flexibility and offers a wide variety of configurations. Up to 2 independent channels 1 or 2 separate channels can be used in one CPC6000, which allows the user to perform two different calibrations at the same time. Each channel will be equipped with its own controller module (see drawing below). A controller module either consists of a unique valve control unit or of a special control unit (for 1 bar) including a pressure generation pump like the LP-pump module (in this case no external pressure source is necessary). Up to 4 precision pressure sensors in total Each controller module can be equipped with 1 or 2 pressure sensors, which have stored all calibration characterisation inside. Pressure ranges are available from to 100 bar and to 10 bar abs. and also as bi-directional ranges (see drawing below; for the corresponding module); all of them with an accuracy of 0.01 % FS. Each controller module of the CPC6000 must be configured with either absolute or gauge ranges. The 2 pressure ranges of one controller module can either be used optimised in the autorange mode or also can be particularly selected by the user via menu. An optional barometric reference allows switching between absolute and gauge mode. Extremely easy to maintain The sensors are interchanged in just 30 seconds (plug & play) and the controller modules can be removed/changed in less than 5 minutes. This provides high flexibility regarding service or utilisation and productivity, because sensors of different range can also be interchanged. 5 Easy configuration via touch-screen I) Multiple language selection Languages available are: English/USA, English/Canada, English/ Great Britain, French/France, French/Canada, Spanish/Spain, Spanish/Mexico, German/Germany, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Russian, German/Switzerland, French/ Switzerland, English/Ireland, Japanese. (Selection via pressing a flag on the touch-screen.) The main operating screen appears after turning on the CPC6000. Here can be selected between the operating modes: Control and Measure mode (or VENT/Standby) II) Displaying 2 channels (option: Delta Function) The 2 independent channels can be displayed simultaneously, which allows the user to perform two different calibrations at the same time. Moreover with a delta function option the user can display also the result of channel A-B or B-A. This delta functions are strictly a mathematical difference between the two physical independent channel readings. This option is useful for calibration of differential transducers at line pressure. 6 Operating modes & Controlling a pressure I. Selection of an Operating mode The selection bar for the operating mode is at the bottom of the display (during any operating mode) Operating mode (press to select): Standby Closes all pressure ports of the respective control channel (the current pressure will be sealed inside the controller/ channel) Measure In Measure Mode, the instrument measures the pressure connected to the Test port of the respective channel very precisely (on changing from Control Mode: the last controlled pressure will be held/sealed in the connected test assembly). Control In Control Mode the instrument provides a very precise pressure at the Test port of the respective channel. Vent Opens all pressure ports of the respective channel to atmosphere II. Entering a Setpoint value in the Control Mode Selection of Sensor 1, Sensor 2 or autorange (1 + 2) Step keys and Setpoint Current pressure value Pressure unit and type (gauge/abs.) Bar chart (see next page) Operating modes XX.XXX = Touch-screen buttons for configuration, selection or input Pop-up input window for the setpoint On pressing the Setpoint button, an input window will appear to enter a new setpoint value. After confirming the input via the OK-button, the controller immediately starts to control to the desired pressure. If the current value attains the accuracy class of the controller, the colour of the figures changes from black to green. A stepwise change of the pressure/set value is possible via the arrow-keys, which are above and below the step and setpoint button.
