2 SYSTIMAX Open Racks The Highly Functional Open Rack with a Modular Open Frame Design The SYSTIMAX Open Racks are designed to simplify the installation of the cabling infrastructure. Their open design enables installers and network engineers complete access to the cabling infrastructure. 4 SYSTIMAX Closed Cabinets Today Network Managers and installers are experiencing the ever increasing densities in the number of network connections being accommodated within a cabinet. They also require a simplified cable friendly environment to install the cable infrastructure and network equipment. The SYSTIMAX cabling and server cabinets provide unparalleled benefits in the ability to provide cable access. The fundamental purpose of a network cabling enclosure is to control and protect the large volume of data cables and patch cords housed within the cabinet. The SYSTIMAX cabling cabinet unique design maximizes the open area available to bring in cables, especially in the two areas most used for cable entry at the rear of the rack and at the sides (top or bottom). The SYSTIMAX cabling cabinet frame design also ensures the cables flow over a smooth surface, which will not damage the data cables. In addition to this functionality it is supported by the SYSTIMAX SCS 20-year warranty. All cabinets include earthing scuibs (cables and connectors) All cabinets include cable tray installed to assist with cable management The door comes with toughened & smoked glass. It is perforated either side of the glass to aid cooling. It also comes with a standard locking mechanism. The cylinder can be replaced by the user to ensure unique keying. The rear door comes perforated also, to aid cooling. The side panel comes with internal release mechanism design to ensure increased security. This 1U fan tray is attached to the roof and does not take up any of the valuable rack space. Allows air-flow through a perforated matrix of holes on the top surface. This top cover must also be used when a top mounted fan tray is to be used. The cabinet comes as standard with adjustable feet. These allow you to align your cabinet on uneven surfaces. Adjustable feet are screwed directly into the 'end frame', using 12 m threads. Adjustment is between 0 mm and 20 mm. For applications where a castor is required the 'castor leveler combination' is available. This unique combination product is a castor system with an adjustable foot built into it. Once the cabinet is correctly positioned, the unit can be aligned on an uneven surface using the adjustable feet. The foot can be used to fix the cabinet in position. 4
