16 Final conclusions and lessons learnt in Warsaw pilot site There is potential for achieving energy savings through ICT awareness tools However, the level of savings might not always ensure acceptable payback periods Initial energy consumption levels and energy costs are key factors for determining feasibility of investment It is difficult to decouple savings linked to the use of ICT tools from natural savings evolution Training session with tenants are key for maintaining their engagement Business models shall assess the feasibility of the costs associated to training programs High consumers shall be specially targeted for leveraging global savings impact at pilot level At the same time, further work on ICT interfaces is needed to make technology more accesible Tenants need to be more convinced about how ICT can help them to save energy 16
