5 Malaysian Health Data Warehouse (MyHDW)

6 Data and Information Governance Sensitive data is when personally identifiable information is linked to clinical information. Some request specifically refers to data and others refer to information generated from such data, and data that are linked to another set of data to provide more value added information. The establishment of MyHDW provides for such avenue and requires proper governance in place to manage the ownership and accountability and access when such data or information were provided. Data and Information Governance is the exercise of authority and control over the management of data as an asset.

7 Data and Information Governance National Security Framework in ICT (RAKKSSA) established by Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), and a Security Committee established for the project, provide coherent and comprehensive approach to security management.
