2 DESIGN BUILD MAINTAIN AMPS Powerline Incorporated is a high voltage electrical service provider of choice for new high voltage electrical construction and the maintenance, repair and testing of existing electrical services. Our staff consists of project management specialists, interprovincial power line technicians as well as industrial and commercial electricians. We also provide in house engineering and design services specializing in providing a full compliment of electrical, instrumentation & automation engineering services to heavy industrial mining and utility clients. AMPS Powerline is an independently owned Manitoba company also aligned with the Wescan Group of Companies.

4 Kent Newman, Managing Partner, is a Journeyman Powerline Technician with 23 years of experience at Manitoba Hydro in a variety of roles. Kent was a Key Account Officer and Energy Services Advisor with Hydro before joining AMPS in Kent s experience includes a thorough knowledge of Hydro s distribution and transmission infrastructure. For 12 years he was the Key Business negotiator with Manitoba s ten largest industrial utility customers. Kent was involved in many large energy management projects through the Performance Optimization Program and also completed Distribution Engineering Technician training. Scott Penner, BSME, Managing Partner, has extensive trades, maintenance and project management experience. Scott has worked as Facilities and Maintenance Manager for a large steel producer as well as Operations and Procurement for a HV Construction and Maintenance company. He has 8 years of experience managing projects in the HV industry. Scott has also worked closely with the Manitoba Hydro districts, design, codes and standards, construction and key/major accounts departments. Scott Holod, Project Manager, is a Journeyman Powerline Technician with over 30 years of experience in the high voltage utility industry. with industrial, mining and utility electrical systems. Scott has an excellent knowledge of methods and best practices for the construction, maintenance and trouble shooting of high voltage distribution systems.
