13 ROLE OF THE AFT CENTER NAM National Account Managers (NAM) are assigned to the AFT Center Partnership Division. Schedules and coordinates monthly, quarterly or as needed conference calls with account and AFT Center management and staff to ensure open communication and address any procedural issues/concerns, etc. Preempts CBP Form 28/29 issues with open communication and obtaining clarification/resolution as needed. 13
14 ROLE OF THE AFT CENTER NAM, CONT. Annually generates and analyzes account CY/FY import trade profile data, identifies potential risks and trends. Go-to person for account to help resolve any trade-related CBP issue, concern, problem, etc. Maintains ISA oversight responsibility; reviews ANL and supporting documents and provides HQ with ANL summary report and annual program participation recommendation.

33 AFT CENTER ENFORCEMENT Enforcement activity can take place at time of entry or at post-release Some main areas of focus include, but are not limited to the following: Intellectual Property Free Trade Agreements Revenue evasion Transshipment Enforcement actions involve multiple groups within CBP 33
34 AFT CENTER OPERATIONS The goal of the operations are to facilitate legitimate trade while enforcing the laws and regulations against violators. The AFT Center works with the participating accounts to establish concepts/plans for future operations. In addition, operations focus on protecting our participating accounts from illegal importing/exporting of their products. 34
35 AFT CENTER IPR ENFORCEMENT Conduct National and Local operations Over 1750 seizures totaling nearly $20 million in value to date Participation between AFT CEE, Ports, NTAGs and HQ 35
36 ALLEGATIONS Allegations can be submitted by the trade directly through the e-allegation (cbp.gov), a Field Office, a Port of Entry or the designated CEE. Within e-allegations, the Report Trade Violations is to be used to report the following illegal trade activity: Misclassification of imports Country of Origin marking issues Textile/Trade violations IPR infringement Export issues Healthy and Safety Issues. All allegations affecting a participating account are to be forwarded to the CEE. 36
37 IPR RECORDATION The AFT CEE recommends all registered Intellectual Property is recorded with CBP. All product manuals with recorded trademarks can be submitted to CBP for inclusion in our internal Product ID Guide. The IPR Product ID Guide allows all CBP personnel (e.g., Officers, Import Specialists, Entry Specialists, etc.) immediate access to the recorded trademarks. The IPR Product ID Guide is only for CBP use and can not be viewed by outside stakeholders. 37
