31 The Importance of Fast Internet Targets - EU & Ireland By 2020, download rates of 30Mb for 100% of population and at least 50% of population using 100Mb Irish Government - Fibre to 90% of the population and wireless broadband to remaining 10% Given present initiatives, these targets will not be met in Ireland 31
