1 ZOOM Technologies forays into Gujarat (Surat) with Cybersecurity and Forensics! For the first time in Gujarat, Zoom Technologies India Pvt.Ltd., the pioneer in cybersecurity and forensics, launched a state of the art cybersecurity training and solutions center in Surat on January 24th, Gujarat has traditionally been famous for its diamond and textile industry. Those aspiring to work in the tech industry had to go elsewhere for training and jobs. Lack of local resources and trained personnel has also largely kept big tech multinationals away from the state. To address the growing demand for trained cybersecurity and IT professionals, Zoom has taken the initiative to set up Surat s first exclusive academy focused on cybersecurity, networks and forensics. This will serve a dual purpose-create a large base of well trained IT professionals and also attract large multinationals to set up shop in Gujarat due to the availability of local talent. This Center offers certification courses to equip security professionals with the skills to protect data and networks from malicious intruders. The tools and techniques that will be imparted are vendor or platform agnostic. The topics include Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures Expert; Network Penetration Testing Expert; Network Security Expert; Digital Forensics Expert; Mobile Forensics Expert and Wireless Security Expert.

4 Our endeavor is to train the cyber security experts of tomorrow who are equally at ease in protecting the conventional or the latest cutting edge network. The center has a world class training environment with security experts as instructors with several years of industry experience, says Mr. Noble.

5 The Center for Excellence in Virtualization and Cloud computing will focus on providing training on industry's leading platforms like VMware, Microsoft and Amazon. This Center has great significance as virtualization and cloud computing have become ubiquitous in data centers. Mmre and more organizations are moving towards these technologies because of the enormous cost savings as well as the scalability that they offer. Virtualization helps to optimize IT service delivery and improves the automation and flexibility of IT infrastructure. Our training is fine tuned to cover the entire gamut of skills required to design, configure and manage a Virtual Data Center environment.
