2 Rank CR#/ C Title: Same Day Pair Changes AKA Change SUPP Provisioning Interval from 5 to 1 Day Description: Currently when a hot cut is scheduled and a NDT condition on one or more lines cannot be resolved, the CLEC is required to send a supp, changing the affected pair (s). The only option to the standard 5-day interval for this type of change is a cumbersome escalation process to the NMC and RCCC to get management personnel to push the request through. We would like an automated process that will update CFA information quickly without management intervention. The real intent of this initiative is to move the provisioning interval for a supp to change the CFA from 5 days to 1 day. 6 Rank CR#/ 6 C Title: RETAS pending status information transaction Description: Enhance RETAS to include better and more current status information available from WFA. Currently RETAS only reflects trouble resolution when the ticket has closed. Covad is requesting that RETAS include the real time trouble ticket status feature Sum/Rmk to open tickets. Business Narrative: Provide Example That Justifies Change: Currently Covad must call the RCMC to obtain real time status on open trouble tickets. The RCMC agent looks the information up in WFA and verbally provides the update to Covad. This consumes significant resources at Covad and Verizon. Providing the requested information in RETAS would eliminate these calls. Reason: Covad will be able to obtain real time updates on TTs on-line without having to place customers on hold while a phone call in made to the RCMC. Description: Replace the Provider Notification Report with the Provider Notification Form as defined on pages 1370 to 1396 of 1931 in the Verizon Version LSOG 6 combined Business Rules and EDI Guide as available on the Verizon Web Site. This message should be transmitted to the losing carrier as close to the PCN to the gaining carrier transmission as possible. CLECS should receive loss messages for all category losses which they then can process themselves to account for such losses as Resale-UNE conversions or visa versa but move service orders should not generate a loss as the Service Orders should be associated as per CR C Reason: The Provider Notification notifier can be processed, in an automated manner, by CLECs the same as other EDI notifiers are processed.
