25 Setting Up NUTH The agency that could set up and manage NUTH website component as well as NUTH number Unified Metropolitan Transport Authorities (UMTA) could be the nodal agency for coordinating the NUTH effort Any one of the transit/traffic agencies could alternatively become the nodal agency for coordinating the NUTH effort with overall guidance and support of UMTA The agencies that need to be considered for possible association: Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority (UTMA) having mandate for multi-modal co-ordination in a city/region must participate and take lead All agencies responsible for managing transport, traffic, road network and transit of the city/region must participate
