5 Transit Productivity: How many passengers transported per hour of service (PPH) Automated passenger counter (APC) Productivity standards and goals: 20 PPH <15 PPH considered very low, not using resources efficiently Frequency: How often does the bus come? 15-minute service = Great 30-minute service = Good 60-minute service = Poor Operational Cost: Approximately 520,000 service hours per year $66M annual operating budget Walkability to Transit: ¼ mile walking distance to a bus stop

8 RPM Phase II Results Every route proposed to receive adjustment 19 of 34 routes proposed to receive substantive improvements, to include: Frequency improvements Improved span of service More nights and weekend service for better job/school access Major efficiencies proposed: 2 merged (Routes 45, 60 and 47,48) 1 Elimination (Route 42) New service approach for Glades area 8
