8 Proposal for Grant of LTA to M/s Mytrah Energy (India) Pvt. Ltd. at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, Southern Region 1.0 M/s Mytrah Energy (India) Pvt. Ltd. (MEIPL) was earlier granted connectivity for 300 MW at Tirunelveli PS & LTA for 75 MW with target beneficiaries NR- 45 MW & SR-30 MW for its wind generation project Tirunelveli Area. 2.0 Subsequently, MEIPL has submitted LTA application for 225MW in Jan 17 seeking transfer of power to target beneficiaries in NR as per the details below: Sl. However, the meeting was deferred due to pending matter in CERC under Petition No. 145/MP/2017 for amendment to the Detailed Procedure for connectivity of wind/solar projects. 4.0 Since the matter pending in CERC was pertaining only to the grant of Connectivity, and MEIPL had already been granted Connectivity and had already signed bay implementation agreement, the agenda for grant of LTA to MEIPL was circulated on for comments/observations. 5.0 Subsequently MEILPL revised the target beneficiaries by submitting fresh LTA application for 225 MW with target region as NR, NER & ER. 9 Proposal for Grant of LTA to M/s Mytrah Energy (India) Pvt. Ltd. 7.0 The transfer of power from SR to NR/NER would be through WR & ER Grid. Presently SR is importing power from WR & ER Grid and the scenario is likely to continue in the near future also. Accordingly, no constraint is envisaged in transfer of 150 MW of power from SR to ER directly and 150 MW of power to WR/ER for onwards transfer to NR(100 MW) & NER(50 MW). 8.0 Presently the ATC between ER & NER is 1360 MW and sufficient capacity is available for transfer of 50 MW from ER to NER. 9.0 In regard to transfer of 100 MW power from SR to NR via WR, it is to mention that with the commissioning of Jabalpur-Orai 765 kv D/c lines, ATC between WR-NR is expected to enhance to MW from present ATC of MW. Based on the enhancement of above ATC and capacity created due to relinquishment/abandonment by LTA customers, it has been found that adequate margin shall be available in WR-NR corridor to facilitate transfer of 100 MW of power from WR to NR The system studies carried out from generation to target region(s) and the results are enclosed at Exhibits-I(a) & I(b). It is observed from the study results that the line loadings are generally in order Accordingly following is proposed for the change in target region and grant of LTA for the fresh application 1. Change in target region in earlier granted 75 MW LTA of MEIPL from NR-45 MW, SR-30 MW to NR-75 MW subject to payment of relinquishment charges as determined by CERC in Petition No. 92/MP/ Grant LTA of 225 MW for power transfer from MEIPL (SR) to NR-25 MW, ER-150 MW & NER-50 MW from to with the transmission system at Annexure-A. -X-X-X- 2
