Overview This nte describes the crrectins and enhancements included in Versin 2.9 f the UBPartner XBRL Tlkit and its relevant cmpnents: XBRL Cnverter Tl (XCT) XBRL Rendering Tl (XRT) XBRL Validatin Tl (XVT) XBRL Signature Tl (XST) Reprting Management Tl (RMT) XBRL Tlkit - Micrsft Excel User Interface (MMIXT) The XBRL Tlkit is used by rganisatins acrss Eurpe, the Middle East and Africa t help them generate, validate and render XBRL dcuments; and t XBRL enable their reprting applicatins. T cmplement the XBRL Tlkit, UBPartner prvides a number f pre-mapped Excel templates fr the fllwing XBRL Taxnmies: EBA COREP EBA FINREP EIOPA Slvency II Ntes: UBPartner can als prvide a number f earlier COREP and FINREP templates; templates fr ther lcal banking taxnmies; and prvide custm templates n request. A.1 Key highlights XBRL Tlkit, versin 2.9, is a General Release and as such replaces all previus releases. It is a mandatry upgrade fr any user seeking t use the latest EBA and EIOPA taxnmies and the assciated UBPartner Taxnmy Packages. 6 Nte Number Taxnmy Reference Details 1. EIOPA Slvency 1.5.2b, 1.5.2c This taxnmy uses the pre-recmmendatin enumeratins specificatin which is nt fully supprted in XT versins befre EIOPA Slvency 2.0. This taxnmy uses sme pre-recmmendatin syntax fr several assertins which is nt fully supprted in XT versins befre General Ntes: 1) All General releases are supprted fr a minimum f 12 mnths after the release f a new General release. 2) Users are expected t upgrade frm an Interim release after a new General release is made available 3) Older versins f the sftware can be supprted n a extended supprt agreement basis. 8 C. Enhancements and new features C.1 Versin 2.9 The fllwing is a list f enhancements and new features added between Versin 2.9 and Versin f the XBRL Tlkit. C.1.1 Rendering Tl (XRT) The pssibility t render QName labels in a natinal language ther than English is available. If the taxnmy des nt cntain labels in the required language, then English labels will be rendered as default. C.1.2 Cnverter Tl (XCT) The pssibility t highlight assertins and duplicate facts errrs in the riginal Excel file is added. The pssibility t put relevant sftware infrmatin as a cmment t the generated instance is added. The infrmatin n UBPartner sftware is added t generated instances in the frmat f a prcessing instructin as required by the EIOPA Filing Rules. C.1.3 Validatin Tl (XVT) Different errr severity levels are nw supprted. FATAL/WARN and BLOCKING/NON-BLOCKING assertins will be highlighted in different way in the result files T imprve perfrmance, frmula validatin will nt be executed when duplicate facts exist in the XBRL instance dcument.
