2 Update your details, view your application progress and personal information This position resides within the Multimedia, Design and Production Section, as part of the Division of Communications and reports directly to Head of Multimedia. The Multimedia, Design and Production Section is responsible for high quality professional production and design of communications assets and flagship reports. Digital assets are featured and distributed on all global digital channels for UNICEF, including unicef.org in 5 UN languages, global social media channels, external digital media outlets and traditional media channels. The Section is also responsible for providing normative guidance and technical advice to country offices, regional offices and national committees. How can you make a difference? Emphasis is on the creation, implementation, curation, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of global content and production facilities for UNICEF s web and social media properties. 3 interview, meeting, travelling, processing, training, or any other fees) and impact Coordinate with numerous people throughout the organization to personally research, structure, develop, assemble and produce multimedia (text, images, audio, video, interactive, etc.) coverage packages for breaking news, scheduled events and other content areas related to UNICEF Programmes Tackle creative problems with innovative solutions and clearly mapped out results Storyboard and present concepts clearly prior to realization Maintain branding for UNICEF videos and affiliated media products Develop creative multimedia packages on a quick turnaround, under tight and variable deadlines for social media and other online and broadcast platforms Understand and thus apply the critical elements and principals of storytelling so that projects may have maximum impact and audience to serve UNICEF s mandate Maintain strong technical leadership on continual basis and adapt to industry changes Undertake UNICEF video production and post-production, including managing media with Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Pro Tools and other related motion graphics and animation software Shoot and edit video and web material as needed for UNICEF priority communications Serve as HQ in-house videographer as required having demonstrated a thorough understanding of digital cameras (f-stops, color temperatures, audio recording, frame rates, lighting, composition, et al.) Conduct recorded interviews; manage and direct talent/subjects Work with and manage both video and audio files (in multiple formats) such as AIFF, MP3, H.264, MP4, Pro Res, et al. Gather and adapt to information on an on-going basis on industry trends and advances in technology in video editing and post production tools To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have 3 sur 5 27/10/ :42

4 An advanced university degree in communication, design, arts or related field. A first university degree in a relevant field combined with an additional 2 years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in professional video and audio editing experience. Expert skills in motion graphics design, animation, video production, video shooting, lighting and sound required. Experience in digitizing and video streaming for the web and other multimedia services is required. Skills in the following industry tools: Premiere, After Effects, Pro Tools and other professional post-production software are highly desirable. Proficiency in Mac platform, Non-linear editing - Adobe Premier, Audition, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, 2D/3D motion graphics After Effects, HTML5, Flash (animation, composition, VFX, title sequencing is a plus), color grading Color or equivalent software is highly desirable. Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
