4 Factory Default Settings English UI - Or - User name & Password - admin Introduction This device convert video & audio to TS, then send the TS stream to media streaming server (Wowza, xtream codes, nginx, etc..) or online live broadcast platform, such as YouTube, Facebook, Ustream, Twitter, etc, over network. By H.264 / H.265 efficient compression technique, our encoder use less data to transfer the better video.it supports RTMP / HTTP / HLS / RTSP / Multicast /Unicast / RTP Stream Protocols and ONVIF. Features 1. By HiLinux System, works stable and effective. 2. Friendly Web Control UI, support ios, Android, Windows 3. Support RTMP, RTSP, UDP, HTTP, HLS, FLV and ONVIF Protocols. 4. Support VBR / CBR rate control. 5. Output Stream bitrate adjustable. 6. Support Text and BMP photo insert as Stream Logo. 7. Support firmware upgrade. 4

6 When stream to online platform, address is a domain (not an IP), must need input correct DNS for the encoder. 6

7 Mainstream encoding settings 7

8 Mainstream (Substream) encoding settings 1. Encode type - H.265 Encoder supports H.265 / H FPS - max is 60fps, when input is 1080i, fps will be half, for deinterlacing. 3. GOP - group of pictures, suggest the value keep same as the FPS. 4. Bitrate(kbit) - value depends the video quality you need, suggest 1080P@3500kbs, 720P@2800kbs,SD@1500kbs. 5. H.264 Level / Profile - baseline / main / high Profile, we recommend the high profile, for H.265 Encoder can only select the main profile. 6. Bitrate Control - VBR (Variable Bitrate) / CBR (Constant bitrate) 7. MinQp / MaxQp MaxQp - the larger the value, the more stable the bandwidth, but video quality will be decrease, recommend keep as default value. RTMP Settings 1. Wowza - rtmp://serverip:port/application/stream name I.E rtmp:// :1935/live/oupree If Wowza open the Source Authentication, and source User Name - oupree, password , the address will be rtmp://oupree:123456@ :1935/live/oupree 2. Xtream Codes - on its panel, rtmp address need write as rtmp:// :8001/live/stream name 4. OSD - if want to display the transparent logo, please set the background color as 0xF1F1F1 or R-177 G-204 B-233, file name as the encoder request. 8

9 Audio Encoding Settings Usually, keep as default, but you can set it as your need. 9

10 System Settings You can change the password for the encoder. Upgrade firmware select the right firmware which download from our website, and upload it, if upload success, please reboot the encoder. 10

11 FAQ 1. How to Reset the encoder? When power on, hold the RST button around 10 seconds till the status led off, then release it, the encoder will be initialized. after reset, some models of the encoder, the MAC address also reset it, and may cause problem, you need set a new MAC for the encoder. 2. I can t enter into the encoder control panel or ping it? a. Ensure the encoder IP with your router in same gateway, such as Encoder IP is , but your router IP is or else, in this situation, you need Connect the encoder with your computer directly, and set the computer IP to , then enter the encoder control panel - Network, set the its IP to , click setup, and reboot the encoder. b. Connect the encoder with your router or switch, change back y o u r c o m p u t e r i p. c. If still not works, pls contact us. 11
