2 Pre-Video Setup 1. Remove iphone case so client can more clearly see what buttons are being pressed 2. Center iphone to be in the center of the recorded screen 3. Take music stand and angle it to be parallel with the iphone 4. Place ipad face down on the music stand to where the camera is focused on the iphone 5. Plug in microphone to ipad for a more clear sound 6. Lower brightness on iphone so the screen is visible in the recording 7. Change background and hide any information that I do not want in the video

3 Video Layout 1. Introduce myself while showing iphone on a table 2. Introduce the problem 3. Perform the function that client is having a problem with while explaining what is happening and showing where and what every app looks like 4. Conclude the video

4 Editing Video Clips 1. Create a new movie on imovie and select File on the top right hand portion of the Mac. Click the first option under File which should be New Movie. Choose the video clips to import into imovie. 2. Sometimes while recording a video clip I would slip up on a word or something on my iphone would not load. imovie gives the option to cut anything out of the video. imovie also gives the option to change the theme of your cut. I kept it simple and efficient, but if

5 you wanted to, you could play with the different and adjust hem to your liking. 3. Throughout the video it is possible that in some areas you spoke up a little bit too much and the audio quality is not as good. imovie allows you to separate the audio clips and edit certain bits of audio. When messing with the audio, I needed to make it so that my voice was at a consistent volume the entire time. If I messed with the volume too much, it would be harder for my client to understand what I am saying.

6 4. imovie has a feature where you can save it on the imovie app and upload it from there. I always exported my videos and saved them to my computer to be safe. After you have finished a video, you create a title for your video and select share at the top of the page. Click the button that says File to save it to your computer. 5. After saving video to computer, upload it to Youtube.

7 Uploading my Videos to Youtube 1. Create an account so my client can easily access the videos. 2. Click the Upload button located on the top right hand corner of the Youtube page.

8 3. Select the file your video is saved under. Select the specific video you would like to upload to your Youtube channel. 4. Youtube will ask you to title your video. After titling your video, press Upload and you will be taken to a screen that shows you the progress of the upload. This process takes more time the higher quality and the longer the video is. Once it reaches 100% your video will be uploaded onto Youtube.

9 My Youtube Channel 1. You are able to change you profile picture and icon on your Youtube channel. This account is the same as your Gmail or Google You must have a picture that is 2048 pixels wide and 1152 pixels tall to make it your channel art. Many people use this space to show what they do on their Youtube channel. 3. Youtube also allows you to edit your channel description. The channel description is somewhat like your channel art because it is used to show what you do on your Youtube channel. The difference between your channel art and your channel description is that your channel art is a picture while your channel description is a few sentences. 4. The Analytics section shows an overview of the amount of views you have gotten recently, the watch time in minutes, and the average duration of all of your videos. It also shows the amount of likes, dislikes and comments you have received. If anyone hs

10 shared your videos, it shows that along with how many of videos are in playlists you have created and the number of subscribers you have at that point in time. 5. Youtube also has a live stream feature. Live streaming is where you record yourself doing anything and people can watch you live.
