1 OCC Church App Using the Church App You can download the app onto your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play. Once the app has completed downloading, open the app. 1. Enter the authentication code that you received in your Upon logging into the app, you ll be taken to OCC s home page. Here you'll see your volunteer service, birthdays, events, etc. Note the HOME icon in the upper right corner. Hitting this button will bring you back to your home page from anywhere in the app. To the right of the HOME button you ll see a SEARCH button. Here you can search for just about anything: people, events, etc. On the left you ll see a menu icon. This will bring up a navigation menu that includes your profile, events, directory, giving, serving, Sunday Messages, a link to YouVersion Bible app and more! EDIT PROFILE If you would like to edit any of your personal information, click on the My Profile icon. Here you can make updates that will automatically appear on your Seraphim Account. (NOTE: Major account changes may need to be updated by an OCC administrator.) GIVE FEEDBACK Clicking on the Give Feedback link will allow you to send a message directly to Seraphim Support. Use the feedback feature if: You need assistance with the app You d like to report an issue that you re having You just want to tell us how much you love the church app!

2 SIGN OUT You do not need to sign out every time you close the app. The app will remember your login credentials. Directory Page The directory page allows you to find people in your church. 1. Enter the name or a partial name of the person you re looking for and hit SEARCH. You can then tap the name of the person you re looking for to see their contact information and photo. 2. If they have any contact information listed, you can call, or text them from the app. NOTE: If a user does not wish to publish their information to the public church directory, only admins will be able to see their profiles. All profiles default to not sharing information. Each individual will have to select to share the information. Stream The stream is a communication tool built right into Seraphim. Think of it like an in-app instant messenger. You can search for specific individuals and send them a private message on stream. You can even message a group of individuals that you belong to for a group discussion. You must have access to the person s contact info in order to use the stream.

3 Events Page The Events page will show all church ministry events that are scheduled. 1. Click on a specific date to view the events that are scheduled on that day. 2. On the next page, you can filter what events you re seeing by selecting a specific event type at the top of the page. 3. To view an event s details, click on the event. 4. On the next page, you will see the event times and a map of the event location. To view the event address, click on the pin in the map marking the event s location. 5. You can also indicate your attendance by clicking on Going, Interested, or Not Interested. 6. When you select Going, your device will ask if you would like to be reminded of this event. If you allow it, the church app will sync up with your device s calendar, and automatically add the event. You may need to allow the church app access to your calendar first, depending upon your device. Giving Page Here you can manage your giving. You can give a one-time gift, or you can set up a recurring payment. To give a one time gift, first select the fund that you d like your gift to go to. 1. Enter a giving amount 2. Click on GIVE NOW to give a one time gift. To set up a recurring gift, skip to the RECURRING GIFT section below. On the next page, if you re paying with a card, enter the debit card number, expiration date, and the three-digit CVC code on the back of the debit card. If you prefer to use a checking account, click on ACCOUNT in the top right. There you can enter your Account number and Routing number. If you plan on using this payment method for future giving, click the toggle icon for SAVE PAYMENT METHOD When you re finished, hit SUBMIT GIFT You will then have the opportunity to add a note to the gift as well. A note is not required. It s up to you!

4 Once you hit OK, the app will open up a tab in your mobile device s browser. Here you ll see a summary of your gift. Hit CONFIRM. You should then get a confirmation screen. To set up a Recurring Gift, click on SET UP RECURRING Select which type of gift you d like to set up: Weekly, 1st and 15th or Monthly. NOTE: if you select 1st and 15th, this will actually set up two separate monthly gifts for the same fund. If you need to make future adjustments to a 1st and 15th gift, you ll need to first update the 1st monthly gift, then update the 15th monthly gift. Enter a start date for the first date on which you d like the amount to be withdrawn from your account. Enter an end date on which you d like your gift to stop. Both a start date and an end date are required. The app will then show you the amounts that will be given on the dates of each month for the next twelve months. On the next page, if you re paying with a card, enter the debit card number, expiration date, and the three-digit CVC code on the back of the debit card. If you prefer to use a checking account, click on ACCOUNT in the top right. If you plan on using this payment method for future giving, click the toggle icon for SAVE PAYMENT METHOD. When you re finished, hit SUBMIT GIFT. You will then have the opportunity to add a note to the gift as well. You don t have to though if you prefer not to.

5 8. Once you hit OK, the app will open up a tab in your mobile device s browser. Here you ll see a summary of your gift. Hit CONFIRM. 9. You should then get a confirmation screen. NOTE: After each time you give, you will receive a receipt from BluePay sent to your address that s on file with the church. Payment Methods You can keep multiple methods of payment and giving in the church app. That way you don t have to keep entering the same debit card or account number each time you want to give to your favorite ministry! 1. When you arrive at the Giving page, click on the PAYMENT METHODS icon in the bottom center of your screen. 2. If you don t have any payment methods saved, click on NEW METHOD OF PAYMENT. 3. If you want to add a new card payment method, enter the card number, expiration date, and the three-digit CVC code on the back of the card. 4. If you want to add a checking account, click on the ACCOUNT tab in the upper right, and enter the appropriate account number and routing number. 5. When you re finished, click ADD METHOD OF PAYMENT. 6. You will then get a SUCCESS message. Click CONTINUE, to finish the process and go back to the giving page. Viewing giving records In the Church app Giving page, you can also view a history of your giving records and other financial data. 1. From the giving page, click on the MY FINANCES icon in the bottom right corner. 2. The page will default to the records screen. Enter a start date and end date to view the giving records within that date range. Hit GO. 3. Records will be listed in order from newest to oldest.

6 To view a history of your recurring gifts, go to MY FINANCES and click on the RECURRING tab at the top of the screen. To edit a recurring gift, click on the recurring gift, and select YES when you are asked if you want to EDIT RECURRING GIFT. Serving Page Come to the serving page to view ways that you ve served, when you re serving, and other serving opportunities. 1. By default, you ll see your service schedule that you ve been assigned to. Click on each item to view it s details. 2. To see available service opportunities, click on the OP- PORTUNITIES button at the bottom of the screen. Click on the name of an opportunity that you re interested in. Here you ll see the details of the opportunity, the leader(s) of that team requirements for serving, and a list of other team members. To sign up for this opportunity, click SIGN UP. Confirm the message by clicking YES. This will send a notification of interest to the ministry leader(s). They will then be in touch about your involvement with that ministry! 3. To see the serving calendar, click on the CALENDAR button at the bottom of the screen. The calendar will show you any dates you re scheduled to serve. To stay on top of your family s schedules, click on the FAMILY CALENDAR toggle button to see service dates for your whole family. You can also click on a date to add a Block out Day. A Block out day indicates to ministry leaders that you are not available to serve. Click on the date in question, and select YES when prompted to add a block out day. Enter a reason for the block out day (ex. Dentist Appointment) Enter the start and end date of the block out Hit Create when you re finished, and hit YES on the confirmation message.
