1 Instructions for using the Microsoft Office 365 software download service for employees and students in the UrFU Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that brings together the best tools for the way people work today. Using of services Microsoft Office 365 allows employees and students of the UrFU: activate personal access to Microsoft Office 36S services which enables to download Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Skype) to 5 devices of the user; get access to Web-based applications OneNote Online, OneDrive Online, Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, SharePoint Online and other Office 365 services; create and use an electronic mailbox in the University domain urfu.me (only for university students). Activation of access to the Microsoft Office 365 services in the UrFU 1. Go to the page office365.urfu.ru. 2. Log in, using the UrFU account (corporate login and password). If you are already authorized in one of the services of the university, the authorization will be performed automatically.
2 3. You will be taken to the main page of the service office365.urfu.ru. Click the button "Go to activation". 4. To complete the activation Office 365 service access read the conditions of use of this service, confirm agreement with them and click the button "Activate".
3 5. Your request for activation will be done within 24 hours. After that you can use the services of Office 365 through the page office365.urfu.ru. Using the Microsoft Office 365 Service 1. Go to the page office365.urfu.ru and click the button "Go to the use of the service".
4 2. The system will transparently redirect you to the office.com portal. During the transition to the service, additional information messages can be displayed. 3. You will be taken to your personal portal page after completing the minimum settings. 4. You will see a list of selected available web applications on the main page: OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others. To see a full list of applications available to you, click on the link "Explore all your apps". 5. To download and activate Office 365 software on your devices, on the main page, click the drop-down list "Install Office Apps". Choose one of the two installation options. In our case, choose the first option "Office 2016".
5 6. The installer is downloaded to the local computer. After downloading the installer, start the downloaded file. 7. The installation process starts.
6 8. The installation process is complete. 9. After the installation is completed, go to the Office and check the account properties, including the fact of activation (File Account). 10. Please note, if you need to enter a login for Office 365 activation (in the format - name@at.urfu.ru), you can see it on page office365.urfu.ru in the section "Home" or "Activation". Using the corporate service for students in the UrFU 1. A corporate mailbox is available in the urfu.me domain for users of the Student / Student and Employee categories. 2. In order to find out your mail address registered in the domain urfu.me, click the icon "avatar" in the upper right corner of the page. The menu item "My Accounts" will open. To the right of the avatar icon you will see your address.
7 3. For using corporate service, click the application button "Mail". 4. Make the settings for the Language, Time Zone and click the button "Save". 5. It is your corporate mailbox.
8 6. Click the button "Create", to create a new Write the text of the letter and enter the address of the recipient. Then click the button "Send". 8. This message will appear in the Sent Items folder.
9 9. In order to view the received messages, open the Inbox.
