1 Quick Guide for Mynaportal Introduction of Mynaportal and About This Guide Mynaportal is an online service managed by the government of Japan. You can apply to services online related to parenting by the one-stop service and you can receive notifications from administrative organizations. This is a quick guide which is a simplified operation manual of Mynaportal. The contents of this guide are the login methods to Mynaportal and the overview of each service. Login Method This part introduces three login methods. Login with smart card reader For smart card reader users Step Connect the smart card reader and click the Login with smart card reader button (). Step Click the Login with smart card reader button () in the Top Page. You can select a language. Step Running the Mynaportal App, the password input screen will be displayed. Type in your password which you have set for your Individual Number Card using -digit half-width numbers (), then click the OK button (). Step When the dialog is displayed, click the Next button (). After the application downloads, install the Mynaportal App by following the instructions. If a confirmation message about a browser extension is displayed, please enable the extension. Windows Mac This is the dialog for Internet Explorer. The message may be different in other browsers. What is the password for the Individual Number Card? It is the password of the -digit number which you set for the electronic certificate for user authentication when you received your Individual Number Card from your local municipal office.

2 Step Login with D barcodes (via PC) For compatible smartphone users Access the Mynaportal Top Page via your PC, then click the Login with D barcodes button (). PC Step Start the Mynaportal App which you installed on your smartphone. After that, tap the Login with D barcode on PC screen button (). Read the D barcode () displayed on your PC screen again, then login following instructions. Android Step The D barcode () will be displayed on your PC screen. If the Mynaportal App is not installed on your smartphone, go to Step. If the Mynaportal App is already installed on your smartphone, go to Step. PC Step When the password input screen is displayed, type in your password which you have set for your Individual Number Card using -digit half-width numbers (), then tap the OK button (). When the guidance screen to set the smart card is displayed, set your Individual Number Card on your smartphone. Step Read the D barcode () by using a QR code reader on your smartphone. After scanning the D barcode, the URL to Google Play will be displayed on your smartphone. Tap the URL, and install the Mynaportal App on your smartphone. 3 Login for Android browser For compatible smart phone users Step Access the Mynaportal Top Page with your smart phone, then tap the Login for Android browser button (). If the Mynaportal App is not installed on your smartphone, go to Step. If the Mynaportal App is already installed on your smartphone, go to Step. Step When the password input screen is displayed, type in your password which you have set for your Individual Number Card using -digit half-width numbers (), then tap the OK button (). When the guidance screen to set the smart card is displayed, set your Individual Number Card on your smartphone. Account Information Registration When you use Mynaportal for the first time, the Account Information Registration screen will be displayed. This part explains the screen items in the Account Information Registration screen. I would like to receive notifications about your information and inquiry. I would like to receive notifications from administrative organizations. I would like to receive notifications for confirmation on user information updates. I would like to receive notifications when connecting to or disconnecting with external websites. I would like to receive alerts on storage capacity limit. Go to the next page Nickname Required field Request notifications related to Mynaportal reports The Nickname will be your name on Mynaportal. Your Nickname needs to be less than 0-characters. Request notifications from Mynaportal services You can receive notification s sent to your registered address. Check boxes for notifications you want to receive. Multiple choice are allowed. You can receive alert s to your registered address before your user folder reaches storage capacity limit. Last Login Date, Expiration Date of Electronic Certification The date and time when you last used the Mynaportal, the expiration date of electronic certification, and the nickname of current user are displayed. Reload button Reload Your Notifications to the latest state. 9 Logout Exit from Mynaportal. A confirmation message will be displayed. Screen number This is your screen number. Go to the next page Your Information Edit Account Information You can ask administrative organization to disclose your information. When they answer your information, the number of unread answers is displayed next to the Try using Your Information button. When you click the Try using Your Information button, the Your Information will be displayed. Notice You can check your notifications. When there is an unread notification, the unread number is displayed on the right side of the Try using Notice button. When you click the Try using Notice button, the Notice will be displayed. You can edit or delete your account information. When you click the Try using Edit Account Information button, the Edit Account Information (Input) will be displayed. Agent You can register or cancel your agents here to entrust work in Mynaportal. After you set your agents, you also can check the operation history of your agents. When you click the Registering your Agent button, the Agent Menu will be displayed. The Start Agent Service button is displayed when you are registered as an agent. When you click the Start Agent Service button, the Start Agent Service will be displayed on screen. When you click the Notification of Agent Operation button, the Notification of Agent Operation which is the operation history of your agents will be displayed.

When there are unread messages from administrative organizations, the number of unread messages is displayed next to the Try using Interaction History button. When you click the Try using Interaction History button, the Interaction History will be displayed. Operation History You can check your Mynaportal operation history. When you click the Try using Operation History button, the Operation History will be displayed. Deeper Connection You can connect or disconnect to other websites. When you click the Try using Deeper Connection button, the Deeper Connection will be displayed. Change Individual Number Card Password / PIN You can change your password of Individual Number Card. Click to move to the corresponding municipality website.
