4 Foreword This errata is associated with the Traffic Management Data Dictionary (TMDD) v3.03c, which provides the foundation of the Center-to-Center (C2C) Concept of Operations and Requirements for Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS). It should be noted that the ATMS is a very complex system and there are many other standards that are necessary for development and C2C operations. This document, however addresses the most fundamental elements of an ATMS. This errata adds a plain-text summary of the major changes from the previous versions of TMDD v3.03c. Please insert this page between Page iii and Page iv within your copy of TMDD v3.03c. This errata also corrects two errors identified in the Needs to Requirements Matrix (NRTM), which can be found in Table 4 of Volume I of the Standard, specifically: a) UN ID (Need to Support Subscriptions), Requirement ID (Message Transmission Time Publication Updates), the value under the Conformance column should be M (not Subscription:M) and the value under Support should be Yes (not Yes / NA). b) UN ID (Need for Event Data), Requirement ID (Event Class), the value under the Conformance column should be EventIndicator:O.4 (1..*) (O) and the value under Support should be Yes / No / NA (not Yes / No). Please replace existing pages within your copy of TMDD v3.03c with the following pages, which reflect the corrections identified in a)-b) preceding. 6 Volume I: Concept of Operations and Requirements History The following is a summary of the changes to TMDD v3.03 from TMDD v3.02. Revised the conformance statement, which defines how an implementation may claim conformance to the standard. Updated the mapping of TMDD to the most recent version of the U.S. National ITS Architecture at the time of publication (National ITS Architecture Version 7.0). Reformatted the Needs To Requirements Traceability Matrix (NRTM) for improved usability. Corrected ambiguities and errors that were found in TMDD v3.02. Added requirements based on comments received and to remove ambiguities. Expanded the representation of the design content to more fully define dialogs and external references. Added enumerations to several data elements to improve support for extensions. The following is a summary of the changes to TMDD v3.02 from TMDD v3.01. Add support for Hazmat-Incident related information. User needs were updated (See Section ), and requirements and design elements for hazmatincident information were added. The following is a summary of the changes to TMDD v3.01 from TMDD v3.00. Updated the mapping of TMDD to the most recent version of the U.S. National ITS Architecture at the time of publication (National ITS Architecture Version 6.1). Corrected ambiguities and errors that were found in TMDD v3.00. Reclassified several user needs as requirements. Added authentication as an optional data frame to all request messages, and added Restrictions as an optional data frame to all response messages. Added the enumeration, no valid data available, to the Error Report message. Corrected the data types in the normative NTCIP-References.xsd. Changed how errorreport was handled in the tmdd.wsdl file because to be consistent with industry tools Page vi
