1 POP3/IMAP Service Getting Started Guide
2 Welcome to IEDGE. Thank you for choosing IEDGE as your service provider! We re glad you ve decided to join our community, and we re excited to help you get started with your POP3/IMAP service. The objective of this guide is to help you setup your POP3/IMAP account on your computer and mobile device. This guide will contain the following tutorials: Logging in your account the first time Setup your POP3/IMAP on your mobile device (iphone/ipad) Setup your POP3/IMAP on your mobile device (Android) Modify DNS Records for External Domain Names Need Assistance? If at anytime you have any questions or require any assistance with setting up your account, please feel free to send us an to 2
3 Logging in your account the first time 1. Go to and login with your address and password. 3
4 2. Next, we ll proceed to change your default password. Click on the Settings link on the top right hand corner after you login. 4
5 3. Click on Accounts on the left, then click on the Change Password button. 5
6 4. Enter your current password and new password into the respective textboxes and click on the Save button. 6
7 5. Once your password has been changed, we will now set the display name that will be shown to others when your s are being sent out. Type in the name you would like others to see into the Your name textbox and click on the Save button. 7
8 6. Congratulations! You re done with the setup of your account. Click on your address at the top left hand corner to return to your mailbox view. 8
9 Setup POP3/IMAP on your mobile device (iphone/ipad) 1. Go to Settings - > Mails, Contacts, Calendars - > Add Account on your iphone/ipad. 9
10 2. Select Other. 10
11 3. Select Add Mail Account. 11
12 4. Enter your Name, Address, Password and Description then click on Next. 12
13 5. Make sure IMAP is selected. Fill in the Host Name, Username & Password for both incoming and outgoing mail server settings. The Host Name is login.iedg .com, and the username is your address. Once done, click on Next. 13
14 6. If you receive a prompt that says Cannot Verify Server Identity, click on Continue, otherwise proceed to the next step. 14
15 7. Click on the Save button to complete your setup. 15
16 Setup POP3/IMAP on your mobile device (Android) 1. Go to your device Settings. Select the Accounts tab, then click on Add account. 16

18 3. Enter your address and password, then click on Next. 18
19 4. Select IMAP Account. 19
20 5. Fill in your Address, Username, Password & IMAP server for the incoming server settings. Use your address as the username and login.iedg .com as the IMAP server. Leave the rest of the fields default. Once done, click on Next button below. 20
21 6. Fill in the SMTP server, Username & Password fields for the outgoing server settings. The SMTP server is login.iedg .com and the username is your address. Leave the rest of the fields default. Once done, click on the Next button below. 21
22 7. Configure your preferred account options. The Sync schedule & Peak schedule is how often you want your device to download your s automatically. If you are unsure, just leave it the settings as default. Once once, click on the Next button below. 22
23 8. Lastly, enter a descriptive name for your account (for your own reference) and your display name for outgoing messages. Click on Done to complete the setup. 23
24 Modify DNS Records for External Domain Names If your domain name is hosted with an external DNS provider, you need to make the following DNS changes to direct your domain name s mail flow to our mail servers. Depending on your DNS provider s configuration, it may take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect. 1. Modify the MX records Remove any existing MX records and add the following new MX record: mx5.iedg .com Note: Set the priority of the MX record to a value of Modify the TXT record Remove the existing TXT record and add the following new TXT record: v=spf1 include:spf.iedg .com - all 24
