Mst f the cmpany (450+ users) has been upgraded and the final grup will be dne this week. The final task will ccur n Friday night at 6 PM. We will turn ff at the Mnastery and turn n the in the clud. We have been gathering at bth lcatins, s, there will be nthing missed. The amunt f time yu g withut up t date will depend upn YOU! Each user in the cmpany will have t have their client recnfigured, that is, the client will have t be tld t send/receive frm the new lcatin and nt the ld lcatin. Yu have tw ptins t get this dne. Starting Saturday mrning, yu can cntact the Help Desk OR yu can try t d it yurself. If yu chse t cntact the Help Desk, yu dn t need t read any further. Yu can cntact us as sn as yu need t and wait in the queue. Of curse, we will wrk as diligently as we can t get t yu, but, with 500+ users, it may take a while. The instructins t recnfigure yur n yur PC AND yur phne (if applicable) are n the next few pages. Read thrugh them and yu will find that it is a simple prcess. D NOT d this until after 7 PM n Friday, March 1 st! 2 T recnfigure yur PC fr O365 Open the Cntrl Panel n yur PC. Click n the Start Buttn and either type Cntrl Panel r click n the buttn fr Cntrl Panel n the right side f the Start Menu When yu see the Cntrl Panel appear, click n Mail (Micrsft Outlk 2016) (32-bit). Yu may have t click View By twards the tp right and chse Large r Small icns instead f Categry. Click n Shw Prfiles

3 If yu see a prfile listed, click n it t highlight it and then chse Remve Click Yes n the ppup. Click OK t clse the Mail dialg windw.

4 At this pint, the Outlk client needs t be set up t cnnect t yur accunt within the Office 365 envirnment. Open Outlk frm the start menu r frm the taskbar if yu have a shrtcut fr it. Yu will get a New Prfile windw as shwn Type a Prfile Name and click OK. The prfile name des NOT need t match yur username / name Click Cnnect. Uncheck Set up Outlk Mbile n my phne, t and click OK At this pint, Outlk shuld begin t lad with yur accunt. Yu may be prmpted fr yur passwrd. Enter yur Twne passwrd and click OK. Fr ur apartment assciates, please remember t use the utlk icn

5 Yur PC client recnfigure is cmplete. The next sectin cncerns setting up n a cell phne. Cnfiguring n yur Smart Phne iphne Users First thing that we want t d is t remve the cnnectin t the Twne Exchange server. G t Settings > Passwrds & Accunts. Lk fr an accunt named Exchange r Twne Exchange r Wrk and click n that accunt. At the bttm, click Delete Accunt. Click Delete frm My iphne. Once the accunt is deleted, yu can g back t yur hme screen. Next, we need t dwnlad the new Outlk app nt yur phne. G t the AppStre and search fr Micrsft Outlk. Click Get t dwnlad the app. Enter yur iclud passwrd t dwnlad and install the app. Lastly, we need t lg int the new app, s yur will nw sync frm the new Office 365. G t the Hme screen and lcate the newly installed app. Click it t pen. Enter yur address (USERNAME@TwnePrperties.cm). Click Add Accunt. Click n Office 365. Yu ll be prmpted t lg int yur accunt. Enter yur Office 365 username. (USERNAME@TwnePrperties.cm).

6 If yur username is yur first name and last initial, use that befre prtin. Enter yur Twne passwrd. Click Turn On if yu re asked if yu want t turn n ntificatins. Click Allw if yu re asked if yu wuld like t allw Outlk t send yu ntificatins. Yu ll nw see yur inbx. Yu can g int the settings at this pint by clicking n the menu buttn n the tp left f the app and then clicking the gear n the bttm. Frm here, yu can edit different settings t yur liking. A ppular setting t turn ff is the Fcused Inbx setting. Yu can als edit yur signature frm this screen. Andrid Users First thing that we want t d is t remve the cnnectin t the Twne Exchange server. G t Settings > Accunts > Accunts Lk fr an accunt named Exchange r Twne Exchange r Wrk. Instead f an accunt name, it culd als have yur address listed with Micrsft Exchange ActiveSync belw it. Click n Remve accunt, then click n Remve accunt again. Next, we need t dwnlad the new Outlk app nt yur phne. G t the Play Stre app and search fr Micrsft Outlk. Click Install t dwnlad the app. Enter yur ggle passwrd t dwnlad and install the app if prmpted. Lastly, we need t lg int the new app, s yur will nw sync frm the new Office 365. Open the newly installed Outlk app. Click Get Started. Enter yur address (USERNAME@TwnePrperties.cm) and click Cntinue.

Yu can g int the settings at this pint by clicking n the menu buttn n the tp left f the app and then clicking the gear n the bttm. Frm here, yu can edit different settings t yur liking.
