Note 2) The present manual covers up to Connection to Intra SSL. Once you succeeded in connecting to Intra SSL, connect to each system. 1

3 Installation Manual on Intra SSL Service (PC Check) An Overview of Installation << A case in which Intra SSL Service (PC Check) is installed to new PC >> Perform STEP shown below. Read page 6 or later for Operational Procedure on each STEP. 5 [ STEP1 ] Prepare for your IS Environment ActiveX Setup (1) Start up the browser, and select Tools and then, Internet Option. Click Internet Option. (2) Click Security at Internet Option. Click Security. (3) Choose Internet and click Custom Level. (1) Choose Internet. (2) Click Custom Level. 5

6 [ STEP1 ] Prepare for your IS Environment (4) Select ActiveX controls and plug-ins and then, Enable. (5) Choose Prompt at Download signed ActiveX controls. (6) Select Enable at Active scripting. 6

Check the logon username when Windows security screen displayed. Check here Click here after the check Check the username from explorer.exe process when task manager displayed. 11 [ STEP1 ] Prepare for your IS Environment Confirm user s rights for Windows VISTA, 7 Confirm the username of logon now. Click Control Panel clicks from start menu. 14 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate Remarks * This task is required only the first time. * Username is available only in a PC to which you installed the certificate. * If you want to use the ID in another PC, please contact the help desk depicted in page 2. * If you use 64 bit OS, please use Internet Explorer 32 bit version. Check Internet Explorer (This is 32 bit version) Install a Certificate (1) Start up the browser (Internet Explorer). Enter the following URL in the address bar and press Enter. Attention! Enter URL. * If the security alert dialog as shown below appears, press OK. 14

15 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (2) Enter Username and Temporary Password described in Intra SSL Application User ID (Registration). Then, click Sign In. Notes: (1) See Intra SSL Application User ID (Registration). (2) Make sure the password be correct. ex. O and 0, I and 1. Username: Enter Username. Password: Enter Temporary Password. Click Sign In. (3) Old Password Re-enter the Temporary Password you entered at (2). New Password Enter more than 6-digit alphanumerics (Optional). Confirm Password Re-enter your New Password you entered above. Enter each Password as described above and click Change Password. Edit: Make sure to change your password every 3 months for your security. 15

16 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (4) Username Re-enter the Username you entered at (2). Password Re-enter the New Password you entered at (3). Enter the items as shown above and Click Sign In. * If the security warning dialog as shown below appears, press Install or Yes. (5) The following dialog will appear on the screen. (Wait until it disappears.) 16

17 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (6) The screen below appears on the display. Note: The presence of this screen doesn t mean a trouble indicated. Once a certificate installation is completed, it will disappear. Note: If you use an application without PC Check Service; Follow the instructions below to use applications. Certificate installation is not required but applications with PC Check Service are hidden from the screen menu. To check if PC Check Service is available in the application you are currently using, please contact each help desk. If you want to use an application with PC Check Service, go on to (7). * Click Continue on the screen above. Click Continue. 17 * Applications without PC Check Service are available * Applications with PC Check Service are hidden.

18 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (7) Click the link to C Check Certificate Authority on the screen below. Click the link to PC Check CA. (8) Connection ID Re-enter the Username you entered at (2). Password Re-enter the New Password you entered at (3). Enter the items as shown above and Click Login. * If the security warning dialog as shown below appears, press Install. 18

19 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (9) Address Enter your address. Address (Confirmation) Re-enter the abovementioned address. Enter your address as shown above and click Proceed to confirmation page. (10) Check the address you entered at (9) and click Proceed to confirmation page. Check the address and Click Proceed to confirmation page. Click Register 19

20 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (11) The screen shown below appears on the screen. Click Logout. Click Logout. (12) Receive an sent to the address you entered at (9) in PC that can receive a mail. See Note. Note: (12) to (19) can be performed in another PC, instead of the one you intend to install Intra SSL Service. If you want to install Intra SSL Service to one PC and another to receive mails, perform (12) to (19) in the one to receive mails. We acknowledge receipt of the following mail. From : PC Check Certificate Authority <pck@ml.d-cruise.co.jp> To : Mail address you entered at (9) Subject: TDC Users: Notice of Registration Confirmation on your Address YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss 20

21 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (13) Open a mail you received at (12) and click the URL found in the text. ************ *********** **** Open an and click the URL found in the text. Note: When you click the URL but it doesn t appear on the screen, copy the URL and paste it to the browser s address bar. (14) Connection ID Re-enter the Username you entered at (2). Password Re-enter the New Password you entered at (3). Enter the items as shown above and click Login. 21

22 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (15) First name Enter your first name. Family name Enter your last name. Company Enter your company name. Division Enter a Division that you belong to (Optional). ***** **************** **************** **************** Enter the items as shown above and click Proceed to confirmation page. Note: For the entry details, follow the instructions. 22

23 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (16) Make sure the item you entered at (15) be correct and click Register. *********** ********** ********************** **************************** ***** Check each item you enter and click Register. (17) The following message will appear on the screen. Click Logout. Click Logout. 23

24 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (18) Receive an sent to an address you entered at (9) in PC that can receive a mail. See Note. Notes: (1) (12) to (19) can be performed in another PC, instead of the one you intend to install Intra SSL. If you want to install Intra SSL to one PC and another to receive mails, perform (12) to (19) in the one to receive mails. (2) We require 2 to 3 Working Days to issue you a certificate. If you don t receive the following from PC Check Certificate Authority a week later, please contact your PC Administrator. We acknowledge receipt of the following mail. From : PC Check Certificate Authority <pck@ml.d-cruise.co.jp> To : address you entered at (7). Subject : TDC Users: Notice of Certificate Issued (xxxxxx@global) (19) Open the you received at (18) and check the URL found in the text. ************* ***** Open the and check the URL found in the text. Note: Perform the later tasks in a PC to which you intend to install Intra SSL. If you have a PC to install Intra SSL and another to receive mails, do NOT click the abovementioned URL, note it down. 24

25 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (20) Start up the browser (Internet Explorer), enter the URL you noted at (19) in the address bar, and press Enter. Note: Perform the later tasks in a PC to which you intend to install Intra SSL. Once the certificate has been installed, be aware that neither copy nor transfer is available. If you want to re-install OS to the PC, or transfer to another PC, you need to re-issue another certificate for it. Enter the URL you entered at (19). For Windows Vista/7 users, Click Windows Vista/7 User. Move to PC Check CA. 25

26 [ STEP2 ] Install a Certificate (21) Connection ID Re-enter the Username you entered at (2). Password Re-enter the New Password you entered at (3). If the security warning dialog as shown below appears, press Install. Enter the items as shown above and Click Login. (22) The following message will appear on the screen. Click Download certificate. Click Download certificate. Click Yes When the finish download dialog appears on the screen, it is the completion of a Certificate installation. Click OK. 26

27 [ STEP3 ] Connect to Intra SSL Connect to Intra SSL (1) Start up the browser (Internet Explorer). Enter the following URL in the address bar and press Enter key. (See Additional for Add to Favorites.) Enter URL. * If the message dialog as shown below appears, press OK. (2) Username Re-enter the Username you entered at (2) in STEP 2. Password Re-enter the New Password you entered at (3) in STEP 2. Enter the items as shown above and Click Sign In. 27

28 [ STEP3 ] Connect to Intra SSL (3) The following message will appear on the screen. (Wait until it disappears.) (4) When you can view the screen below, you are connected to Intra SSL. The picture below that represents the lock will be displayed under the task bar (right bottom of the screen). Close the window if you want. Connected 28

29 [ STEP3 ] Connect to Intra SSL Disconnect Intra SSL (1) Right click the yellow lock icon and select Sign Out, to disconnect it. 29

30 [ Additional ] Add to Favorite (Create Shortcut) Add to Favorites (1) Display Sign In page on screen, so as to connect the browser to Intra SSL. Click Favorites and then, Add. (2) Click OK. Click OK. 30

31 [ Additional ] Add to Favorite (Create Shortcut) Create Shortcut (1) Move the cursor to Favorites. Right click the icon and select Copy. Click Copy. (2) Right click the icon on the desktop and choose Create Shortcut. Click Create Shortcut. 31

33 FAQ (1) What can I do when I cannot connect to Intra SSL at STEP3? 1. Intra SSL Service page doesn t appear on screen. Please check the URL of Intra-SSL Service Page is correct Whenever I entered Username and Password at Intra SSL Service Page, Invalid Username or Password message pops up on the screen. Username or Password you entered may be incorrect. Please enter Username and Temporary Password described in Intra SSL Application Username (Registration). If it is not your first try to connect to Intra SSL, enter your new Password. If you forgot your Password, please contact the help desk depicted in page When installing Intra SSL, the message dialog remains on the screen and freezes. Please consult STEP 1 found in Installation Manual again. 4. Whenever installing or booting, the following security alert appears on screen. If Cert Check message appears on the screen; Please consult STEP 2 found in Installation Manual again. 33

34 (2) What can I do when application is unavailable? If you cannot connect to systems after the completion of installation, and the following message The page cannot be displayed appears on screen, please make sure you be connected to Intra SSL Service. [Check] Check if the lock icon appears at the right bottom of the screen. [The icon is absent] You are not connected to Intra SSL Service. Please check STEP 3 found in Connect to Intra SSL, so as to try again. [The icon is present] You are connected to Intra SSL Service. Please check the application address (URL) you are currently using. If it is correct, go on to contact the help desk for the application you are currently using. (3) How can I re-install OS to PC for Intra SSL, or transfer to another PC? Intra SSL installation and re-issue of Certificate are required. For the re-issue of Certificate, please contact the help desk depicted in page 2. 34

35 (4) Pop-up Blocker Settings If an application is hidden from the screen, WindowsXP SP2 or Google tool bar etc. may be hidden by Pop-up blocker function from the screen. If Block Count 1, etc. can be viewed on the browser screen, click it to approve the display. [ WindowsXP (SP2) Standard Pop-up Blocker ] 1. Right click the information bar (the message that a pop-up was blocked,etc.) found on the browser screen. Click Pop-up Blocker Settings. Pop-up Blocker Settings have been completed. Please check if the application works properly. 35
