1 Managing Your Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement Arrangement and Transportation & Parking Accounts Online

2 Overview Welcome to the Chard Snyder Participant Portal! Here is a quick look at some of the features you can utilize: Update your personal profile, user name and password View your current account balance File claims Check the status of your claims See when and how reimbursements were made See debit card transactions Read your plan descriptions Receive mobile notifications Get information, links and questions answered on every page 2

3 Access Your Account To access your account go to and click on the bright blue Login button in the upper right corner of the page. The page will slide down to reveal the login options. Select ACCESS YOUR FSA, HRA, HSA ADVANTAGE, TRP ACCOUNT(S) from the Employees section on the left. Your default user name is your social security or employee ID number, no dashes. Your default password is the first four digits of your social security or employee ID number. You will be asked to answer security questions and have options to change your user name and password after the first time you log in. 3

4 Home Tab Click on any of the menu options at the top of the screen to see detailed information about your account. Please notice that Chard Snyder s contact information is on every page in case you have questions while you are in the portal, and the white question mark in the blue circle gives you more information about the area it appears in. Also, clicking on any area that appears in blue type gives you more information about that area. 4

5 I Want To... On almost every page in the portal, you can find the I Want To quick links. On some pages, like the Home tab, it is prominently displayed near the top of the left hand column. On most other pages you will find an I Want To drop-down box in the upper right hand corner. Manage My Expenses This takes you to the Dashboard, which gives you a snapshot of all of your expenses. File a Claim This button takes you to the first page of the claim filing process where you choose the plan you wish to use. 5

6 File a Claim If you are enrolled in multiple plans, or if there is still time to file claims for last year s expenses, you will see those options here. Click the File Claim button to get started. 6

7 File a Claim Here is a picture of the File Claim screen. Complete the information, scan and attach the relevant receipt, and click the Add Claim button. The Claims Basket allows you to keep claims you re working on in the basket while you scan receipts, add more claims, etc., until you time out or log out of the portal; then the basket is automatically emptied. 7

8 Accounts Tab Account Summary By clicking on the Accounts Tab at the top, you will go directly to the Account Summary. Click on the blue type to get more details about that area. From this tab, you can also access more detailed account activity, claims information and payments through the menu on the left. 8

9 Accounts Tab Account Activity Account Activity shows the amounts being contributed, claims submitted, and the available balance of the chosen plan. 9

10 Accounts Tab Claims Clicking the Claims button will show the status and method of payment for your claim reimbursements. They can be filtered by Account, Claim Status and Receipt Status. By clicking on a claim, you can see the details of that claim including options to view and upload receipts. 10

11 Accounts Tab Payments When you click the Payments button you will see a listing of transactions from all accounts. The list can be filtered by the method of payment, status or date. 11

12 Profile Tab You can update and change your personal information any time in this tab. This includes changing banking information for reimbursements and changing your Username and Password. The Banking/Cards option is also where you can report a lost or stolen debit card and order replacement cards. 12

13 Statements & NotificationsTab Any correspondence we have sent you regarding your account can be found under this tab. Examples may be requests for an explanation of an expense we need to verify, receipt of a claim, and payment of a claim. Notification Preferences You can receive news about your account via text messages, if you would like. You can set the preferences to determine which news you would like to receive and when. 13

14 Tools & Support Tab The Tools & Support Tab will contain plan summaries, including an HRA brochure when applicable, Quick Links and any other supplemental information that may be helpful to you. Remember, all forms can be found on our website at. The Quick Links contain helpful websites for you: the Chard Snyder website has forms, frequently asked and answered questions, etc. The EBIA table shows IRSapproved eligible items for the FSA and HSA. And FSAStore offers Chard Snyder participants coupons, discounts and eligibility advice for items purchased with FSA or HSA dollars. 14

15 Tools & Support Tab Change Payment Method There are options about how you would like to receive your claim reimbursement payments. Simply indicate your choices on the screen (shown below). Only the options that pertain to your plan will be shown, so if your plan only contains one option you will not be able to change it. 15

16 Dashboard Tab The Dashboard tab lets you see all your expenses in one place. It also allows you to filter the list by status, dates, recipients, and providers or even search for a specific transaction. If you want, you can even add your own expenses or export this list of expenses for use in another spreadsheet. PLEASE NOTE: Expenses added here using the Add Expense button are just for your records. Using this feature does not send a request for reimbursement to Chard Snyder. To do so, use the I Want to drop-down menu to File a Claim. 16

17 Mobile Access Download the Chard Snyder Mobile app from your App Store. You can: View your plan balance Submit a claim Submit receipts Receive claim confirmations or denials View details of specific transactions Be reminded to submit receipts 17
