2 How do I change my password? When logged into the LMS, click on the Edit Your Profile link located in the top-right corner of the web page. On the Edit Profile page, you will see the path of > Your Name > Edit profile appearing in the banner at the top of the page. Click on your name. You will be directed to a new screen with a Change password button located at the bottom of the page. La-Z-Boy Center for Excellence Revised March 2017
3 Click on this button and you will be directed to the Change password page. Complete the required text fields to change your password and click the Save changes button.
4 I forgot my login information. What do I do? If you have forgotten your LMS Username and/or Password, you can retrieve it on your own if you have a valid address associated with your LMS profile. If you do not have a valid address in your profile, you will need to send an to fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to request your Username and/or Password. From the Login page, click on the Forgot Username or Password? link. Enter either your username or address into the text fields. You do not need to enter both. The LMS will send an to the address listed on your profile with a default password.
5 Follow the instructions listed in the to access the LMS. Depending on your provider, it may take a few minutes for the to be delivered. In some instances, this may be directed to your Junk/Spam folder location in your client. If you do not receive this in your Inbox, check these locations. It is also recommended to add fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to your Safelist. If you do not receive the or require any assistance, please the site administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to request assistance. Please provide your full name, location, and telephone number in your message.
6 How do I remove a person from the LMS? Individuals listed as a Sales/Office/Other Manager in the LMS have the option of removing users who directly report to them. To do this, click on the Browse List of Users link. From there, the option to disable direct reports is available. For more information, view the Editing and Deleting Profiles tutorial. For further assistance to have a user removed from the LMS, contact the Site Administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com. Please include the full name and store location of the user(s) to be removed.
7 How do I create a new profile in the LMS? Depending on your job function, there are two ways to have a profile created in the LMS. For new users such as Sales Consultants, Designers, Technicians, Sales Managers, and Other Managers, a new profile can be created by clicking on the Create New Account button located on the Login page. For more information, click on Creating a new profile tutorial. If you are a La-Z-Boy Account Executive or General Manager or work in a job capacity that has responsibility for numerous direct reports and store locations, please contact the Site Administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to discuss the most appropriate setup for you. 8 I submitted a request for my password, but I have not received an with my password. What do I do? Sometimes s sent from the LMS may be identified as spam or junk . If this happens, the with your password and instructions may not be delivered to your Inbox and instead can be found in your Junk/Spam mail folder. To ensure future messages from the LMS reach your address, add fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to the Safelist in your client. If you still have not received your password after checking your Junk/Spam folder and after 24 hours, the Site Administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to get your password.
9 I created a new profile, but I have not received a confirmation . What do I do? Sometimes s sent from the LMS may be identified as spam or junk . If this happens, the containing instructions on confirming your new profile may not be delivered to your Inbox and instead can be found in your Junk/Spam mail folder. To ensure future messages from the LMS reach your address, add fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to the Safelist in your client. If you still have not received your confirmation after checking your Junk/Spam folder and after 24 hours, the Site Administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com to have your new profile confirmed.
10 Why do I have to take a quiz before I can access the training content? Many La-Z-Boy online courses are configured with a pre- and post-quiz. The purpose of the pre-quiz is to give users the option of testing out of taking the course if they can demonstrate they have mastery of the course content. Therefore, the first time you access a course through the LMS, you may be required to complete a pre-quiz. Once the pre- quiz has been completed, you will be able to access the training content, regardless of your score. For more information, view the Courses and quizzes tutorial.
11 How do I view my training history or the training history of my direct reports? All training history information can be viewed by clicking on the My Reports link. From the My Reports page, select a Role to view from the drop-down menu. If you are not a supervisor, you will see only your own training history. If you have direct reports, you will be able to view the training history of all employees who report to you in addition to your own training history.
12 Manager View Only For more information on using the My Reports section of the LMS, see the View Training History/Reports tutorial.
13 How do I correct my training history or the training history of my direct reports? All training history errors or omissions can be directed to the attention of the Site Administrator at fgefeedback@la-z-boy.com. The Site Administrator will work with you to update or correct any training history issues. For more information on using the My Reports section of the LMS, view the View Training History/Reports tutorial.
14 What are the recommended technical specifications and settings for my computer to complete online trainings? For best results, it is recommended that you have the following hardware and software configurations at the computer from which you are planning on viewing the online training: Requirements Windows: XP, 7, 8, 10 Supported Browsers: IE 10, 11, Edge Firefox Chrome Adobe Flash Adobe Reader Mac: OS Browsers: Safari Firefox - Chrome Adobe Flash Adobe Reader or Apple Preview ios 8.3, 9, 10.2 (note 10.0 and 10.1 are not supported) Courses supported on ipads are noted by this icon: Older Flash based courses will NOT function on ipads. iphones not supported. Android: Not supported at this time. Linux: Not supported at this time.
