2 4. Fill out the registration form and type the verification code in the recaptcha box. 5. You will see a message that says Account Created. 6. Go to the account you entered and open the . Click on the link.

3 7. Click Log In and sign in with the registration information you entered to sign up in step 4. Click submit. 8. Click on Make Movies. 9. For your first movie, you have 300 free points. Choose Robotz 2 actors.

4 10. Choose your background. Notice the blue border. 11. Click on the Actors tab. Choose your first actor and select the voice you d like. Click on your second actor and choose the voice you d like. 12. Click on the sounds tab. Choose music or background noise.

5 13. Click the story tab and type in your dialog. Click on the + sign to add a box for the second character s dialogue. Continue to use the + sign to add dialogue boxes.. Once you have added your dialogue. Go back and experiment with sounds, camera angles, motions and other tools. To use the tools, insert your cursor where you would like the special effect and then double click on the tool. Click Save often so you do not lose your work. Click preview to watch your movie. Be patient! Depending on the site s usage, it may take a while for your movie preview to be ready. Example of a tool

6 14. After you ve previewed your movie. Click Publish. A box pops up to tell you how many credits a movie will cost. 15. Once you click Publish, you should receive the following message. Once you press Publish in the Movie Maker, the points are deducted from your account, and the service gets into gear to start churning out the character animation, lighting, and pixels of your masterpiece at final quality. Because this process can take anything from a few minutes to an hour or so (if we re really, really busy), we ll send you an message as soon as it s ready - so don t forget to check your spam folder! In the unlikely event that a movie fails to be generated, don t worry - our servers will automagically catch the error, refund your 100XP, and notify you by .

7 Other Information: To buy points: Click the Buy points button you see in the points bar above the Movie Maker to enter a checkout flow. You can pay via secure credit card transaction or with a PayPal account. Choose from a variety of Xtranormal Point bundles. Note, however, that we re unable to turn this on for entire classes or schools of students and student accounts. Again, since this is simply something we can apply to an existing Xtranormal account that we verify belongs to an educator, it is primarily set up to help create educational/demonstrative movies using premium content for free on that account. There is no class account management system that classes can use at this time to use an educator's Xtranormal Points, and it is not recommended that the same account be used simultaneously by multiple people or entire classes (this can cause login instability which may cause lost progress and also gives everyone using the account access to the edit/delete controls for all movies on the account). If hoping to have students or others involved, many educators opt to set up accounts for them (create an active address, then create an Xtranormal account) and purchase additional premium content for accounts set up for the classroom as an educational expense. We hope to be able to offer additional educator features and a more automated setup of this in the near future, but in the meantime these requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and granted to verified educators.
