3 This manual will provide help and direction for new users of the Office of the Ohio Secretary of State UCC online portal to utilise the features. Your UCC Online Portal provides functionality to enable you to search and view all the filings which you have made. The facility provides you with an overview of all the filings you intend to make (drafts), filings you have submitted and filings which have been completed. The views are presented in three tabs to facilitate intuitive perusal, complete with filtering functionality to refine your search. On all three views (tabs), you can navigate through the listing by utilising the paging functionality on the listing as illustrated in the following screenshot You can filter the listing by selecting a date on the date picker

4 You can also filter the listing by typing any value in the filter box, this will filter across all values in the listing, e.g. if you wanted to filter the listing to only termination filings, then you would type in termination in the filter. You can clear the filter at any stage by clicking the clear link in the top right of the filter area. Drafts (View) When you open a form the New Filings area on your Online UCC Portal and save a draft by clicking the Save Draft button, a draft is saved. The draft view in provides you with a full listing of all your drafts. The view provides you with the following information: Date date the draft was last saved Submission type e.g. termination Financing Statement Number, where available, e.g. on an update submission

5 Option to open the draft Option to assign the draft to a user Option to delete the draft Submitted (View) When you successfully submit a form the New Filings area on your Online UCC Portal a record of your filing is recorded. The submitted view in provides you with a full listing of all your submitted filings which have not yet been completed, i.e. processed to completion by Ohio Secretary of State s office. The view provides you with the following information: Reference Number - unique reference no of the submitted filing, e.g. SR1021 Date - the submitted date of the filing Submission Type e.g. Transmitting Utility Financing Statement Number, where relevant Download icon to download the generated PDF of the filing

6 Completed (View) When you successfully submit a form the New Filings area on your Online UCC Portal a record of your filing is recorded. The submitted view in provides you with a full listing of all your submitted filings which have been completed, i.e. processed to completion by Ohio Secretary of State s office. The view provides you with the following information: Reference Number - unique reference no of the submitted filing, e.g. SR1021 Date - the submitted date of the filing Processed Date the date the filing was processed Submission Type e.g. Party Amendment Financing Statement Number, where relevant Download icon to download the generated PDF of the filing
