What we found out is that there are some very positive things that make our downtown a great place for people to spend time. Thanks to a unique combination of attractions like the Children s Museum of Fond du Lac, Windhover Center, Fond du Lac Public Library and YMCA/Boys & Girls Club as well as parks, shops and restaurants Downtown Fond du Lac can be positioned as the place to gather, meet and connect. The message and logo we ve developed is called Come together. To share this message, a new brand identity has been created for our downtown. By supporting this downtown branding effort, we can all benefit from a strong unifying message that will strengthen our individual advertising and communications programs Page A1

8 Profile features Edit Account This is your personal information that ties to a business listing Edit Business Info This is your business information displayed on your business detail page. Add Daily Specials Daily specials appear on your business detail page. Add events Events are displayed on your business detail page and in the events calendar. Purchase / setup online advertisements Online advertising can be purchased and displayed on the main business directory category pages. Page C1

10 Registration process Create account DFP approval Login Add/edit info... The registration process insures that an individual is properly assigned to and given rights to update information for a specific business. 1. Go to 2. Click on Register now. 3. An is sent to the DFP who reviews the information and approves the account. 4. An is sent to the account creator indicating approval and allowing them to log back in and start maintaining their business information. After an account is approved, the DFP no longer approves business changes. They do however get ed any time a change is made by a business. This allows them to log in and modify or remove information that does not conform to the Terms and Conditions policy. This policy is available on the website. Page C3
11 Create your account. This is the first step in the process is creating an account. First, select your business if it s in the SELECT AN EXISTING BUSINESS menu. If it s not, fill out the information under CREATE A NEW BUSINESS LISTING. more Page D1
12 Fill out your details. The you enter here will be the that you will need to log in with. Enter and confirm your password. Click Register. You will receive an when your account is approved. Page D2

14 Edit your business listing Your Business Listing contains the basic information about your business. First, enter your business details. more Page D4
15 Edit your business listing (continued) Select the Services offered at your location. Select up to 6 subcategories your business should be displayed in. The list of subcategories can change over time. If you feel additional subcategories are necessary please contact the DFP. 17 Edit your daily specials Daily specials appear on your business detail page. Select an existing or Add a New Special. Fill in the information and Save, Cancel, or Delete the special. Page D7
18 Add / edit your business events Events appear in various places in the events calendar. Select and existing event to modify or add a new event. Fill in the Date and the Details and Save, Cancel, or Delete your event. Page D8
19 Add / edit your advertisements Advertisements appear on the Shopping, Dining, Entertainment, Accommodations, and Services pages. IMAGE (LOGO) 8MB file size limit. The image will be resized automatically to a maximum width of 145 pixels and a maximum height of 85 pixels. HEADLINE 20 Character limit. LINK Select the option to link to your business web site or to your directory listing within BODY 80 character max. Get Started Select and Existing or Add and new advertisement. Page D9
20 Add / edit your advertisements (continued) Upload your logo. Browse your hard drive and upload an image. Fill in the rest of the advertisement info. Select a Category and enter the appropriate information. Page D10
21 Add / Edit your advertisements (continued) Determine the life of your advertisement Select a start date and the number of impressions you would like to purchase. Save, Cancel, or Delete your advertisement. What is an impression? In Web advertising, the term impression is sometimes used as a synonym for view.
