1 Frequently Asked Questions What is my Church Directory user ID? Your Church Directory ID is the address used by the church office Who can access the Church Directory? All versions of the Church Directory are password protected Only those who have an loaded into the Church Directory data base can gain access to the Mobile and Internet versions of the directory (your address used by the church has been loaded) The UCCT Webpage version of the directory is also password protected; an address is not required and a specific password is provided by the church What if I forget my password? Internet users use the Forgot password? link on the login page Mobile users Revisit Step 1 of the Mobile Users section UCCT Webpage users please contact the church office How do I submit a new or updated family photo? 1. Internet - Launch the UCCT Homepage: Navigate: Get Connected UCCT Church Directory, Submit send scanned photos to kpenton01@sbcglobal.net 3. Drop original photos off at the Church Office, attn: Kitty Penton UCCT Homepage navigation to submit a photo: What if I don t have an , but do have internet access? A file version of the directory is available on the church website. Please see details in the UCCT Webpage section of this document. Please contact the church office if you: do not have a computer and would like a hardcopy directory do not have internet access and would like a hardcopy directory would like to opt-out of being listed in the directory would like to request updates to family listings would like to add additional phone numbers to a family listing would like to add additional addresses to a family listing Is there a cost for using the Church Directory application? There is no cost to individuals, UCCT has a subscription that covers access for all UCCT users. Sometimes you may see advertisements on the Internet login page, they are invitations for new churches to subscribe and should be ignored. How often should I synchronize (download updates of) the directory to my mobile device? We recommend sync ing the directory each time you open the app *Note: access the Web version of the UCCT wepage from your mobile device, follow the sample and submit a photo from a phone photo library How do I print the Church Directory? Please see the UCCT Website section of this document. The directory can be printed with or without photos. What if I access the directory from several mobile devices? You will need to register each mobile device (iphone, ipad, etc.). Repeat steps 1 6 for each mobile device, and for each account

Enter the address used by the church office as your contact (this is your Church Directory ID). 4. Create a password. 7. Search by first name or last name 8. View listings for Members or Staff Click a listing on the left hand side to see family details 5. Receive an confirmation and click the link provided. 6. 3 Getting started is easy: Welcome to UCC Tolland s Church Directory Mobile Users Cell Phones, ipads, Androids or Kindle Fires Quick search makes it easy to find contacts: 1. Go to your device s App Store: Search for Instant Church Directory (ICD) Open the ICD app Select wifi only to minimize data usage on your celluar Last Name OR First Name 4. Enter the address used by the church office as your contact (this is your Church Directory ID). 5. Receive an assigned password (access code) via Enter the assigned password. The UCCT directory will be downloaded to your device. Convenient tap and launch features are helpful: First things first (finding your way around): Options: Sync Wi-Fi Only (minimize Data Usage) Sync : tap the arrow to syncronize (download updates) Tap address, number or Directory is up-to-date Map Call

Use the File menu to Print or Save a copy of the directory : * The Church Directory webpage includes a link to an address only listing of the Church Directory. This copy has no photos and is convenient for printing 5. FILE Shortcuts: 3. Enter the UCCT Church Directory password: password: unitedchurchofchrist 3. Saved copies of the Church Directory maintain password protection. The password can not be changed.
