3 1 Introduction The goalgamipro for Salesforce app provides a Disclaimer Text field for the report that allows each firm or individual user to specify standard disclaimer text to include in the goalgamipro report so that each time you create a report the same disclaimer text will be included. This guide explains how to configure your Salesforce org to use the Disclaimer Text field and is intended for Salesforce system administrators. 2 Add Disclaimer Text Field to goalgamipro Settings, Plan, and Report Page Layouts To make use of the Disclaimer Text field with the goalgamipro App in your Salesforce org, you will need to add the Disclaimer Text field to the page layouts for the goalgamipro Settings, Plan, and Report objects. The steps to add the Disclaimer Text field to the goalgamipro Setting object are: 1. Log in to your Salesforce Org as System Administrator. 2. Go to Setup -> Create -> Objects. 4 3. Click on the goalgamipro Setting object name. 4. The Object Detail page is displayed. 5. Click on the Page Layouts link at the top of the Object Detail page. Select Page Layouts for the goalgamipro Setting object. Click Edit for the first Page Layout. 6. Click Edit next to the first Page Layout listed. 7. The Page Layout editor screen is displayed. 8. 5 Select Fields option. Drag the Diagnostic Text field onto the Page Layout below. 9. Select and drag the Disclaimer Text field onto the page layout below and drop it right after the Notes Body Text field. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 5 of 20
6 Place Disclaimer Text field right after Notes Body Text field. 10. Click Save. 11. Repeat these steps for each Page Layout listed for the goalgamipro Setting object. Once you have added the Disclaimer Text field to all goalgamipro Setting object page layouts, you can follow the same steps to add the Disclaimer Text field to the Plan and Reports object for goalgamipro. 7 Repeat the same steps to add the Disclaimer Text field to the Page Layouts for the Plan and Report objects. 3 Make Sure Disclaimer Text Field is Visible In addition to adding the Disclaimer Text field to the goalgamipro Settings, Plan, and Report object s page layouts, you will also need to make sure that the Disclaimer Text field for each of these objects is visible to the appropriate user profiles. The steps to check and update the visibility of the Disclaimer Text field for the goalgamipro Setting object are: 1. Log in to your Salesforce Org as System Administrator. 2. Go to Setup -> Create -> Objects. 3. Click on the goalgamipro Setting object name. 4. The Object Detail page is displayed. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 7 of 20
8 Go to Setup -> Build -> Create -> Objects. 5. Scroll down to the Custom Fields & Relationships section of the Object Detail page. 6. Click on the Disclaimer Text field label. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 8 of 20

11 9. Click Save. Repeat these steps for the Plan and Report objects. 4 Using Org-Level Disclaimer Text As a System Administrator, you can enter disclaimer text for your Salesforce org and have that text always included in each report created with the goalgamipro app without your advisor users altering or removing the text. To do that, you need to make use of the Org-Level Settings feature in goalgamipro to create your org-level disclaimer text. You then need to make sure you disable edit permission of the Disclaimer Text field by other user profiles. 4.1 Enter Disclaimer Text for your Org s Organization Level Settings Record First, you will need to enter the disclaimer text you want to use for your org. 1. Log in to your Salesforce Org as System Administrator. 2. Click on the goalgamipro Settings tab. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 11 of 20
12 3. Create an Organization Level Settings record or edit the existing record. Make sure you are creating or updating the Organization Level Settings record. 4. Enter text in the Disclaimer Text field. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 12 of 20
13 Enter your org-level disclaimer text. 5. Click Save. 4.2 Set Disclaimer Text Field to Read Only for Advisor Users To assure that all users will use the org-level disclaimer text you just entered, you will need to prevent other users from changing that text when they create plans or reports. To accomplish this, you will need to set the Field-Level Security for the Disclaimer Text field in the goalgamipro Setting, Plan, and Report objects to Read-Only for other user profiles. The steps to set the Disclaimer Text field to Read-Only for a profile in the goalgamipro Setting object are: 1. Log in to your Salesforce Org as System Administrator. 2. Go to Setup -> Create -> Objects. 3. Click on the goalgamipro Setting object name. 4. The Object Detail page is displayed. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 13 of 20
14 Go to Setup -> Build -> Create -> Objects. 5. Scroll down to the Custom Fields & Relationships section of the Object Detail page. 6. Click on the Disclaimer Text field label. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 14 of 20

16 8. Check the Read-Only box next to those Profiles that use the goalgamipro app and that you don t want to edit the Disclaimer Text field. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 16 of 20
17 9. Click Save. Repeat these steps for the Plan and Report objects. NOTE: You will also need to make sure that the Edit Read Only Fields checkbox is unchecked for each profile where the Disclaimer Text field is set to Read-Only. To change a profile, 1. Go to Setup -> Administer -> Manage Users -> Profiles. 2. Click on a Profile Name. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 17 of 20
18 3. Click Edit. 4. Scroll down to Administrative Permissions section. 5. Uncheck Edit Read Only Fields. Advisor Software, Inc. All Rights Reserved Page 18 of 20
19 Uncheck the Edit Read Only Fields box for each profile. 6. Click Save. Now, users with those profiles you have set to read-only for the Disclaimer Text field should no longer be able to edit that field and should inherit the org-level disclaimer text that you have entered when creating plans and reports.
