1 How to Setup an Auto-Subscription (Auto- ) for Your Clients in FlexMLS Follow this Step by Step Instruction Guide to set up an Auto-Subscription Contacts Contact Management If your clients contact information has not already been entered in, enter it in under the blue Quick Add tab towards the top of the screen. Fill in your clients First Name, Last Name, Address then click Add. Ignore the Portal option (this is a separate function from the Auto-Subscription.) If your clients contact information is already entered in, just click on their name. Once your clients contact information comes up, click on the Searches/Subscriptions tab. Under the the box labeled Searches, click Add. Click Create New Quick Search

2 You will then be directed to a search results screen. Select which type of search you would like to do and click Use. Plug in your search criteria that is of interest to your client. Once you have completed entering in your search criteria, click Save located at the top right corner of your screen. Now you will give your search a name under Search Name. This could be anything you would like, however, your client will see the name of the search when they receive their s. Therefore, make sure to name it something you would not mind them seeing.

3 You may also select options under Additional Search Options as what events define a listing as NEW for this search. Once you have finished, click on Save and Add Subscription. You will now be directed to an Add Subscription page, which is the portion that will be going to your client. Under General Subscription Options, you do not need to click anything, unless for example if you wanted to turn Preview Mode ON. This will send the listings via to you as the Listing Agent, instead of your client. You would then have to approve which listings you would actually want your client to see. Contacts allows you to have this go to more than one contact; for example, both husband and wife. In order to do this, each contact needs to be entered in separately under Contact Management.

4 If they are not, here it allows you to Add New Contact without having to leave the page you are currently on. Under Schedule, select ASAP, this way there is no time lapse in receiving the s. The second a listing comes on the market or a change occurs that matches your clients search criteria, they will receive an right away. The very last thing you need to do is type up the subject and message for your client to see, every time they receive a listing via . Please remember to make this a general , as your client will see this same message, every single time a listing is sent to them. Once you finish, click Save and you are finished setting up your Auto-Subscription! By clicking the save button, an automatically goes to your client; this is an Opt-In request . The will explain you as their Listing Agent have set them up to receive s automatically, on listings that may be of interest to them. There will be a link saying Confirm Your Address, which they must click on, in order to begin receiving the Auto- s. If they do not pay attention to this and respond, they will not begin receiving these s automatically. If they misplaced this , you can

5 resend the to them only one more time, under their name in contact management where it says Send Confirmation . You may want to contact your client by phone, text, to inform them about this Opt-In Request . If they have issues with receiving this again, you will need to call FlexMLS, so they can help you send another Opt-In request to your client. The purpose of this Opt-In Request is to prevent spamming. You will be returned to your search results screen after you have saved your subscription. A green box will appear in the middle of your screen, asking what you would like to do with the listings you saved the subscription to your client. The original search results will not be sent to your client, because those are not new listings. Those are listing that have been on the market, and everything from here on out will be sent to them via automatically. Please select what you would like to do with those listings that originally came up in your search results, when you were setting up the subscription for your client. If you choose to the listings now, you will have to send them as a manual .

6 Under the Contacts tab, you will find an Opt-In Status Report, in which you can see who has Opted-In, who is Pending, who has Opted-Out, etc. Additionally under the Contacts tab, you will find a Subscription Report, which will give you a master list of all the contacts you have on Auto-Subscription. You can have as many subscriptions set up for your clients as you would like; repeat these steps if you would like to set up another subscription for the same client. For example, you can have one client set up to receive auto- s for both Sales and Rentals.
