1 Release History Page 1 Missouri Release Notes IEPPLUS Special Education Management SunGard K-12 Education Best Practices - Many IEPPLUS updates bring Form (e.g. IEP) changes to our Users - some major, some minor. To be sure that your District maintains a proper audit trail, SunGard recommends that all IEPPLUS forms be finalized upon completion. Only work-in-progress forms should remain un-finalized. Version July 1, 2016 PLUS360 Notification Fixed Meeting Invitation rule where it wasn't sending a notification for eschoolplus users invited to a meeting. Student Cost Extract Report Reporting, Advanced Report, Student Cost Extract: Districts requested a single report that assist in determining the cost of a student. A new extract file has been added to find all students within the reporting date range with an Enrollment type of Special Education, Alternate Code = SE. You can select specific related services (or leave blank for all), include Transportation and select finalized records only or all student records. Fields include Student Name, ID, State ID (Alternate Code = SASID), Placement (Primary and Non-Primary), Start/End dates, Placement Names, Location/Length/Level of Intervention, Case Manager and Related Services with Frequency/Duration. Additional Forms Updated the additional forms rich text box to properly allow line breaks when entering data. This will no longer cause an issue when selecting print preview. Version June 9, 2016 Notice of Action The form will look at the Parent/Guardian mailing salutation; if this is blank, it will then display the Parent/Guardian first and last name. Progress Reporting Improved the performance and optimize the manage progress reporting display when user click on manage progress reporting. Version May 25, 2016 Progress report Updated the progress report to properly show the Need statements.

2 Release History Page 2 Modified the progress report to accept non-numeric goal code numbers. Advance Reporting Updated the Last refresh date to reflect the user that has refreshed the report, where appropriate. Each user will have their own record count and date and time for when the data was refreshed. Notifications New options have been added for additional control of Notification Processing. Action Item: If you wish to take advantage of these new options, you will need to go to Options, Set Notification Options, System Setup tab and enter the number of days you wish the system to use. The number of days is currently set to '0'. Evaluation/Re-Evaluation Has Expired for a student: This option can now indicate how far back a notification should fire for active students. If a new evaluation has been created but is not yet finalized, this rule would still fire until finalization to alert the user there is no current form in place. Form Has expired: A new option now provides the ability to indicate how far back a notification should fire when a form is missing or a new form exists but has not yet finalized. For example, entering 365 'Historical days to search' would make the system look back for only one year. This eliminates historical un-finalized forms from being reported. Progress Reporting Past Due: If you do not wish Progress Reporting to send a reminder for an IEP that starts x number of days (ie 30 days) before the next progress reporting period, entering a number in 'Low Day' will count the days and determine whether to skip this marking period for that student and not send a message. Historical days identifies how far back it should report missing progress.

3 Release History Page 3 Two individual notification messages have been modified to assist in identifying when a form has expired, a new form may exist but is not yet finalized so technically the student still has an expired form. Student's Evaluation has expired, No Finalized Evaluation exists Student's IEP has Expired, No Finalized IEP exists Help An End/Beginning of School Year Check List has been added under Administration, End of Year Checklist. Data Integration, Export, Student Data Updated the export process to display the student ID on the data integration summary report. Cognos report Updated User Security permission to mark all areas as available when the 'Restrict application access' is not checked, indicating the user is an administrator and has access to all areas. This change will not affect any existing user permissions. Version May 9, 2016 Progress Reporting Updated the web form to display the goal category, subcategory and level to match the report if option is checked. Progress Reporting, Validation Updated validation result to open the correct goal when the option to 'display goal code' is turned off. TAC Student Drawer Updated the TAC Student Drawer to fix the System : NullReference Error. Version April 25, 2016 Student Drawer Updated the Student Drawer, RC/IPR/TRN Section to allow users to enter information to filter data. These fields are no longer greyed out.

4 Release History Page 4 Version April 8, 2016 Progress Report Progress Reporting Report did not match the web form when the goals printed. The goals were not in sequential order. This has been corrected. Service List report Report no longer required an active placement. This report will look to the student's enrollment record to insure reporting of services for active students. Notifications Student Summary Screen will no longer show 'No active IEP' alert when there is indeed an Active IEP. IEP Updated the IEP->FORM D- PART 3: ACT Accommodations to properly show the checkboxes for Format Accommodations on the printed report. Version March 31, 2016 Referral Reason Updated edit referral process to allow the editing/adding of the referral reason. Mail Salutation Extended the mail salutation field from 48 characters to 96 characters to allow for longer data entry. Version March 18, 2016 IEP Report Updated the text to match the web from in the Transportation section of the IEP. Overdue IEP report Updated Overdue IEP report to only include students with active enrollment type = Special Education

5 Release History Page 5 Version March 2, 2016 No changes Version February 26, 2016 Reporting Advanced Reporting, Medicaid Student List: A new report is available that will search for all active students with related services as of the Service date indicated on the opening screen. Select 'Refresh' to gather data. Run to print the report, Export to manipulate the data in Excel and the Docs icon will provide 'How to' instructions. Action Item: Setup Instructions: Maintenance, Manage Code Tables, Identifications: To display the Medicaid Identification number, the identification type must have an alternate code type = Alternate with a description = CIN. Pennsylvania only: The PA Secure ID will display if an alternate code type = Alternate Code with a description = PASecureID is in place. PDF Streaming Updated PDF streaming to always pull the latest PDF. In the event that a form has been finalized and then unlocked, it will still display that latest PDF instead of reverting to the previous PDF (ie last year). PDF streaming looks for the latest form based on the latest IEP Form Start Date and latest pdf found. Version February 15, 2016 No Changes Version February 8, 2016 CORE Progress reporting Issue has been fixed where clicking on the goal at bottom of the page will anchor to the top of the page. Version February 5, 2016 IEP Cover Page: Updated the IEP->Cover Page to correctly save the Reevaluation Date and the Evaluation Date. Progress reporting Anchoring issue has been fixed where clicking on the goal at bottom of the page will anchor to the top of the page. Version January 19, 2016

6 Release History Page 6 Review of Existing Data (RED), RED 504, ER, ER 504 Updated the Review of Existing Data, RED 504, Evaluation Report and ER 504 to allow the 'Projected Date of Next Evaluation' on the cover page to be cleared out. IEP Cover Page Updated the IEP->Cover Page to correctly pull the Most Recent Reevaluation Date and Initial Evaluation Date, previously it was switching the dates. Progress Reporting Objective text wasn't fitting in the displayable area. If text is bigger than the displayable area, a scrollbar will appear. PLUS360 Notification Fixed the issue where 'You are invited for meeting' rule was not generating error when cross-product notification is turned on and user has 'esplogin' information entered in the staff identification record. Version December 17, 2015 IEPPLUS Notification Updated the notification rule which advised if the student did not have progress for a reporting period. This rule will no longer submit a notification when the student was not active during that reporting period. Data Integration Modified the esp - Discipline Deletion Rule#2 to only delete the event outcome that was removed in eschoolplus. Version December 10, 2015 Progress Report Audit Updated the report query that caused a performance issue when trying to refresh the data. Version November 24, 2015 Progress Reporting Updated progressing reporting to ignore the category if none is selected in the IEP when trying to open the goals in the progress report screen. The client will no longer experience any errors when trying to open the any of the goals. Version November 13, 2015 No changes. Version November 6, 2015 Student Summary Report

7 Release History Page 7 Updated the Student Summary Report for the placement label '% of time in SE' to look at Maintenance, Manage Screen Configuration record to display the default of '% of time in SE' or the text entered as the description. Version October 23, 2015 IEP Modified the IEP Amendment form and report to indicate whether Sections D3-D5 have been amended. Progress Report Modified Progress Reporting to not lock up when opening a goal that did not have data for a particular category. Data Integration - Delete Discipline Rule #2 Modified the Discipline Delete rule to ignore any records that did not have an event outcome to avoid a syntax error when the query returned nothing. Manage Existing Student->Filter by The Manage Existing Student->Filter by process was updated to look at all active enrollments. If you search by 'Gifted, NO GIEP' and the student has both a special education enrollment and a Gifted, NO GIEP enrollment the student will be displayed. Version October 9, 2015 IEP Report Updated the IEP report to correctly show or hide the D3 section on the report. Staff Selection Drop-Down Updated the Staff Selection Drop-Down to only display active staff in meeting drop downs. IEP Creation Wizard Modified IEP wizard, Option 1, to not create new service records if there is an open ended service records for that student. IEP Validation Result Updated the validation pop-up on print preview to work correctly on Internet Explorer 10. It will no longer NOT show the pdf pop-up window when you hit continue after the validation pop-up appears. Data Integration Updated the Data Integration rule for Enrollment Grade and Location to properly pull that data when a student returned to Special Education, Section 504, Referred etc. Version September 29, 2015 IEP Report Regular Ed and Placement Section. The checkboxes for 'Considered' and 'Selected' under Placement Continuum (K-12) are showing appropriately for IEP and IEP Amendment report now.

8 Release History Page 8 Updated the IEP report to correct print the Surrogate parent name on the report when they part of the meeting. Review Existing Data Report Updated the RED report to exclude the textboxes in the Team Conclusions and Decisions based on the checkboxes checked in the "No Additional Data Is Needed". Updated the RED report to exclude any HTML tags from the report when printing. Missouri Validation Rule #35215 Updated the Validation Rule # The validation rule would show an error if the Parent/Guardian had multiple phone numbers listed under contacts. The rule was updated to only search for the first phone number per parent/guardian. Evaluation/Meeting/Placement/Service The Diagnosis tab was inadvertently turned on for districts not using this feature. This has been corrected. Data Integration - Discipline Deletion Rule #2 Updated the rule to delete the event outcome in IEPPLUS when the action is removed from eschoolplus. Version September 10, 2015 Evaluation and Review Existing Data Cover Page Updated the two forms to correctly print the student IDs instead of the internal IDs from the SQL server. IEP The Regular Ed and Placement Section will no longer display a random number at the bottom of the section. Add General Education Student Modified the 'Add General Education' student process to only create one enrollment record when bringing down a student from eschoolplus. The program will no longer add and then end the initial enrollment record and create another one. Enrollment Grade and Location Data Integration Rule (two separate rules) Modified the rules to update the enrollment record when the eschoolplus Entry Date remains the same but the grade or location changes. A new record will only be created if a withdrawal date and withdrawal code exists. Maintenance, Manage Calendars Updated the Calendar option of 'Add calendar days by date range' to add the calendar days to only the selected calendar. Advanced Reporting, Progress Reporting Audit Report Additional Filtering Options have been added to the Advanced Reporting screen: An 'Include Inactive Building(s)' check box was added to include inactive building(s) in the Building Name list. A 'Select All Buildings' check box was added to automatically select all buildings in the Building Name list at the same time. A 'Select All Grades' check box was added to automatically select all grades in the Include Grades list at the same time.

9 Release History Page 9 Version August 27, 2015 Basic List Report Updated the report to correctly display the student grade correctly. Version August 17, 2015 Maintenance, Manage Calendars, Calendar Days The ability to add multiple calendar days at once by selected the new 'Date Range' Option is now available. For example entering the date range of 12/25-29 for Christmas Break will add five (5) individual days for you. Data Integration Updated the PLUS360 Data Integration Rule #6. This rule created a TBD Placement records for a student that was no longer referred in IEPPLUS. Unnecessary TBD records that would overlap with existing Placement records are no longer created. Version July 30, 2015 Demographics Increased the middle name length from 16 to 32 characters. This will resolve the issue if a student has a middle name that was more than 16 characters long and was cut off on forms. Create IEP Wizard Updated the Create IEP Wizard to eliminate an error when selecting Option 2 (Select existing records). The error was 'SM_Category does not belong to table'. Version July 30, 2015 IEP Services Updated the IEP, Services Section to correctly calculate the total services minutes not with regular education peers.

10 Release History Page 10 Create IEP Wizard Updated the Create IEP Wizard to eliminate an error when selecting Option 2 (Select existing records). The error was 'SM_Category does not belong to table'. Version July 15, 2015 Evaluation Report Updated the Evaluation Report to pull the disability as of the start date of the evaluation report. Form Creation Wizard with Meetings Updated the creation wizard to eliminate duplicate meetings in the existing meeting dropdown. Version July 1, 2015 Review of Existing Data The form creation process has been modified. Linking a prior RED to a new RED form enables IEPPLUS to copy previous information on to the new form. The' Previous Evaluation History', as well as information listed as 'Current' on the older form, will copy directly into the 'Previous Information' text boxes on the new form. Any data modified on the new form will not affect the original form. If a form is not selected, a blank form will be created. Team Conclusions and Decisions Section: Decisions for 'No Additional Data Needed, Reevaluation' (right panel) has been modified to only display the block 'If No Additional Data Needed' when check box #1 (Current disability continued to be appropriate) is marked. Validation Rules #35211 and #35212: The rules have been modified to only fire when the first check box (Current disability continues to be appropriate) is checked and data is not entered in the 'If No Additional Data Needed' block. IEP Cover Page: The web form and report have been modified to display all active disabilities on the cover page. Form D, Part 5: The ability to check off accommodations in the shaded gray areas has been added. IEP, Goals & Objectives, Benchmarks Updated the IEP, Goals & Objectives to filter the Level properly.

11 Release History Page 11 Security, User, Student Access The student filtering options for grade and location in User Security has been updated for states that store the grade and location in the student's enrollment record. Reporting The Overdue IEP Report has been updated to accurately reflect the total by grade. Notifications Progress reporting notifications have been optimized to improve the performance for all progress reporting notification rules.
