2 What is Ariba SIM? Ariba Supplier Information Management (SIM) is a SAP solution that enables General Atomics to invite prospective and existing suppliers to complete all supplier registration documentation online. The Supplier Profile Questionnaire (SPQ) inside SIM is the electronic detailed questionnaire replacing GA s the current paper application forms. Self Registering Suppliers initially fill out a basic General Atomics specific SPQ form. Ariba also gives you the opportunity to drive new revenue and exposure through optional programs and FREE programs such as Ariba Network Discovery, which provides suppliers with exposure to buyers currently using Ariba and the ability to develop other B2B e-commerce capabilities. Use of Ariba SIM is FREE to all suppliers. Connectivity Requirements: Internet Browser/Access Valid Address 2

3 Supplier Information Management Process Overview 1 Supplier Registration - General Atomic uses Ariba Network Discovery to search for potential suppliers - If registered, General Atomics extends an invitation to supplier to complete an extended Supplier Profile Questionnaire based on GA s required qualifications. 4 Information Repository & Syndication - Manage supplier data and Reps. & Certs - All supplier data and activities consolidated in a centralized workspace 2 Review & Approval - Supplier Profile Questionnaire checked for completeness by General Atomics - Suppliers can modify and update information when needed - Search, Report & Analyze - Buyers able to find & qualify new suppliers with Ariba Discovery 3 Notifications & Management - Suppliers can be notified via from Ariba for needed actions - Automated notifications for expiring attributes & certifications 3

8 Self Registered Supplier Activate Ariba account An will be sent to the address provided in the User Account Information 8

9 Self Registered Supplier Activate Ariba account An will be sent to the address provided in the User Account Information If you don t find the registration , please check junk and spam folders. 9

10 Self Registered Supplier Complete Questionnaire (SPQ) Complete the Supplier Profile Questionnaire (SPQ) online and attach documents as required through out questionnaire. The SPQ can be saved as a draft to be completed at a later date. Save as Draft Often 10

11 Self Registered Supplier Return to draft SPQ If returning to Supplier Profile Questionnaire draft, in Sourcing Customer List, click on attachment. Click to return to questionnaire 11

12 Self Registered Supplier Submit Questionnaire Once complete through Signature and Certifications, Submit. Attach completed summary certification Hit Submit once complete. 12

13 Self Registered Supplier Complete/Correct SPQ If prompted, complete missing data and submit again. This will repeat until all problems are corrected. 13

14 Self Registered Supplier Return to Overview Supplier receives a successful submission message. Click on the Close icon to return to Company Profile Overview. Click Close icon 14

15 Self Registered Supplier Refresh SPQ After Save, Customer Requested Profile show complete. This will trigger an to our General Atomics Ariba Administration of self registered supplier has complete the SPQ. SAVE Optional: Use these categories to complete additional Public Profile Information for Ariba Network Sourcing. (Your Public Profile Completeness does not need to be 100% if invited to participate in events with General Atomics conducted though SAP Ariba) 15
