1 Signing up for NJ Sharing Network s 5K Celebration of Life Choose your Event Site To sign up for the 5K, visit and click Sign Up under the event you wish to attend. You will be re-directed to that event s fundraising website. NOTE: Registration is required for each event site and registration fees will apply. If you choose to register for multiple events, you will have multiple fundraising pages. You will be credited for all contributions made to your personal fundraising page(s) at the end of the event campaign. Review the information at the top of the page to be sure it corresponds with the event location you wish to attend. Then, click Sign Up on the left hand side of the page. 1

2 Click I Agree to accept the waiver and proceed to the registration page. Select your preferred registration option. 2

3 Choose your preferred registration option: Start a Team To start a new team of which you will be the team captain, select the Start a Team button and enter the following information: Team Name: Enter a team name. This will be displayed on your team page. Please note that team names may not be derogatory or defamatory. Team Fundraising Goal: Enter the total fundraising goal for your team. All contributions made to you, your team members, and the general team fund will count towards this goal. Recruiting Goal: Enter the total number of team members you hope to recruit. Join a Team To join a team, select the Join a Team button and enter the following information: Select the desired team from the dropdown menu Join as an Individual To join as an Individual - NOT a member of a team - select the Join as an Individual button. Register Multiple People To register multiple people as part of a single transaction, select the Register Multiple People button. Please note that you still have to complete the full registration form for each individual person. The full payment for each registrant will be collected at the end of the process. Important: This form assumes you have not yet registered and are the first registrant. If you have already registered for this event, please register each person individually, rather than using the Register Multiple People option. Next, select one of the following options: Start a Team if you want all registrants to be added to a new team, with you as Team Captain. Create a team name, then complete the registration form for each person. Join a Team if you want to add all registrants, including yourself, to an existing team. Select your team, then complete the registration form for each person. Add Individuals if you want all registrants to be independently registered. In this case, there will be no association between these records; simply complete the registration form for each person. 3

4 Create Username and Password: After you select your registration type, you will be prompted to create a username and password. NOTE: If you have participated in the NJ Sharing Network 5K in the past, you can use the same login and password. Select click here at the top to use this login information. Create a username and password by filling in the form. Please note that usernames must be unique not only to 5K users, but also for all participants in any event for any organization using the Blackbaud Sphere system. You may also use your login information from Google, Yahoo, Facebook, or Twitter to register for the 5K. However, NJ Sharing Network will not be able to assist in password reset or account troubleshooting if you register using one of these options. Personal Information: In the Personal Information section, enter the following *required information: Individual Title First Name Last Name Preferred Address: Home or Business Mailing Address Address *We strongly suggest using each person s individual address. If more than one person is registered using the same , it will be harder for NJ Sharing Network to troubleshoot accounts, and the address in question will receive multiple copies of each event . Phone Number Birth Date Gender Certified Race Participation *All Certified Race participants will receive a timing chip 4

5 Registration Options: In the Registration Options section, you must select your registration fee, which is based on your age. You must also: Choose your t-shirt size Enter a discount code if you have one Make a personal contribution toward your overall fundraising goal Enter any matching gift information that your employer may offer Set your personal fundraising goal Click Submit to move to the billing information page. *If you are registering multiple people, follow the steps on the next page. 5

6 Registering Multiple People Only: After you submit each registrant, you will see the following options: Cancel: Click here to start the entire process over. Add Team Member: Click here to complete the registration form for the next person on your list. Continue: Click here when you have added all registrants and would like to finish and submit payment. Enter your billing information. The total of all registration fees and additional contributions will be displayed. After you click Continue, your registrations will be submitted and you will see a confirmation page. You will also receive a confirmation for all registrations to the address you indicated on the form when registering yourself. Billing Information: Enter your billing information. Your registration fee and any additional contribution amount will be displayed under Amount Due. After you click Continue, your registration will be submitted and you will see a confirmation page and will also receive a confirmation to the address you indicated on the form.
