5 P Preface Introduction This manual is a reference for system administrators who need to interpret the messages issued by ETEWatch, by eba*servicemonitor, and by Central Control for ETEWatch. If you purchased the software to develop your own connection packs, please refer to the Connection Pack messages that are also documented in this manual. Organization Messages are grouped in the following categories: Manager Server messages Manager Client messages Central Control messages Common messages, that is, identical messages that may appear for the Manager Server, for the Manager Client, or for Central Control Connection Pack messages The messages in this manual appear in alphanumeric order by message number and are offset to the left. The message text appears on the same line as the message number. Preface 5

6 Each message is accompanied by the following: an explanation of the message a description of the action, if any, taken by the system when a message is generated a suggested response for the user Some messages are informational only; others advise you to take action. To locate a specific message, use the Search feature of Acrobat Reader. Other documentation The CandleNet ETEWatch User s Guide contains detailed information on how the ETEWatch product works. The eba*servicemonitor User s Guide contains information on how that product functions. The CandleNet Central Control for ETEWatch User s Guide contains information on Central Control.
