1 Office Resetting Passwords Manually In order to prevent down-time when being unable to access your Office 365 account, this guide will help you walk through the steps needed to attempt to manually reset your password using Office 365 s built in help option. Doing so may allow you access to your account faster than having someone put in a Help Desk ticket, which may or may not be responded to on the same day due to volume fluxuations in tickets that occur each day. Please follow the steps below prior to calling Help Desk. If you have attempted these steps with no resolution then please have another employee submit a ticket in AeroCareForms.com, or call Help Desk at To get started, please visit outlook.office365.com in your web browser. Step 1: Accessing your If you have signed in to this webpage before, you will see your listed in blue. Please click your address and proceed to step 2, which begins on page 3 (see below): 1

2 If you have not signed into the browser before, the following screen will show up: At his point, you would attempt to sign-in to your AeroCare . If the password is incorrect, you will see the following screen: 2

3 Step 2 Attempting to Reset Password FIRST, be sure that there are no errors in your address, just to be certain. At this point you have two options to attempt to reset your password, but both will show the same screens (see below): Option 1: Click Forgot your password? Option 2: Click Can t access your account? 3

4 Forgot your password? Regardless of what option you choose, it will result in automatically going to this screen. Please type in the letters or numbers you see (case sensitive) and click Next. If you can t read the letters/numbers, you can get a new set by hitting the refresh button (see below): Check to be sure your is correct under the User ID If you can t read the letters, please hit this button to get a new set. Type in the letters/numbers exactly how you see them above, then click NEXT The next page will show you the various options to use to gain access to your account. These methods may vary based on what you set up when you first logged into your account after it was created after you were hired. You may see more or less options than pictured. You will need to use two methods of verification in order to access your account 4

5 Verify via Alternate If you choose to verify via your alternate address, please confirm that you have immediate access to that account, because you will have a confirmation code ed that you will need to type in to reset your password (see below): Check your , you should receive an confirmation saying AeroCare Holdings Inc. account verification code in the subject. Please type the bold lettering into the field pictured below: 5

6 Verify via Text: If you choose to receive a text message as verification, you will need to have the cell phone you have listed on your account on hand to receive a verification code. You can see the last two digits of the phone you used, please ensure that you put the full correct phone number (including area code, no dashes or 1 s needed). You will see the following screen below: Please check your cell phone for a text message with an automatically generated number that you must type in to the verification code block below (Note: this example is on iphone but the same applies for other phones): Click Next after typing in code 6

7 Once you click NEXT on the previous screen, you will be prompted to put in your new password. Note: Your new password must meet the complexity requirements in order to work properly. The requirements are listed below, and will see how strong your password is as you type it into the field (see below): Password Requirements: Minimum of 8 characters long (can be up to 25 max) Requires at least the following: o Uppercase letter o Lowercase letter o Number Special characters (!@#$) can be used but are not required. Cannot match a password that was previously used. Your password strength will be indicated here. The goal is for Strong passwords Click Finish after typing password and retyping in the box below 7

8 Once you have successfully entered a password that meets the complexity requirements, you will see this screen: Click click here to return to the Office 365 sign-in screen Once you have reset your password, please type in your full address and the new password that you just created. This will give you access to your Office 365 again. Click Sign-In to log into your Office 365 account with your new password 8
