3 Prduct Overview Custmer Satisfactin Survey is a Micrsft Dynamics 365/CRM add-n slutin that allws yu t create surveys n yur wn frm within CRM and reach ut t yur target audience fr tracking their feedback. Respnses/feedback are tracked back graphically int yur CRM fr quick analysis. The survey slutin extends the capability f creating wide variety f surveys including that fr prducts and services industries. Page 3 f 25

4 Hw t Install and Activate Custmer Satisfactin Survey Slutin? T install MTC s Custmer Satisfactin Survey slutin frm Micrsft AppSurce n yur D365 instance, please fllw the belw steps. 1. Frm yur D365 instance, g t Settings and click n Dynamics Marketplace under Custmizatin. 2. Apps fr Dynamics 365 windw bx pps up as shwn belw. 3. Enter MTC s Custmer Satisfactin Survey prduct name in the search bx and click n the SEARCH icn. Page 4 f 25

5 4. All relevant search results wuld be displayed. 5. Chse Custmer Satisfactin Survey by MTC and click n Free trial t initiate a 15 day free prduct evaluatin. Page 5 f 25

6 6. A Micrsft permissin windw pps up as shwn belw. Read and check the bx and then click n Cntinue buttn. 7. Add the applicatin t Dynamics 365 page pens in anther tab alng with the prduct details. The page autmatically picks the Organizatin Name f yur D365 instance frm which yu are trying t install the prduct. Check bth the bxes as shwn belw and click n Agree buttn. Page 6 f 25

7 8. Yu will be directed t Dynamics 365 Administratin Center where yu can track the prduct installatin status. 9. After the status reads Installed, g back t yur D365 Slutins Page under Settings and activate trial license fllwing the instructins listed in this URL: Alternatively, fr installing MTC Prducts frm Micrsft AppSurce - click here and fllw the abve prcess listed frm step 5. 8 Security Rles in Custmer Satisfactin Survey Slutin In rder t access Custmer Satisfactin Survey slutin, a CRM user (ther than System Administratr r System Custmizer) shuld be assigned Survey Security Rle and MTC License security rles in D365 by CRM Administratr. Hw t assign Security Rles fr Custmer Satisfactin Survey Slutin in D365? Belw are the simple steps t assign Security Rles fr Custmer Satisfactin Survey Slutin in D G t Settings in yur CRM and Click n Security under System menu. 2. Security page appears as shwn belw. 3. Click n Users. All the users available in yur CRM will be displayed. Page 8 f 25

9 4. Nw select the User that yu wuld like t give access t Custmer Satisfactin Survey slutin and click n MANAGE ROLES frm ribbn. 5. A windw pps up with all the security rles available in yur CRM. 6. Select the Survey Security Rle and MTC License frm it and click n OK. Page 9 f 25

10 7. The selected User will nw be able t access the Custmer Satisfactin Survey slutin. 8. Yu can repeat the same prcess fr assigning these security rles fr ther users as well. Page 10 f 25

11 Cnfiguratin Settings in Custmer Satisfactin Survey T start using Custmer Satisfactin Survey slutin, yu are required t d sme basic cnfiguratin settings inside yur D365 as explained belw. 1. G t Settings Slutins. 2. All the slutins installed in yur D365 will shw up. Click n Custmer Satisfactin Survey Slutin. 3. Custmer Satisfactin Survey Settings windw pps up. In here, yu can see Verifying, Change Passwrd and Uplad Images. Page 11 f 25

12 4. Enter in yu can change the URL field and click n Verifying link. 5. A CRM Settings windw pps up. Select the radi buttn fr (On premise, Office 365, IFDS) yur CRM instance and enter CRM URL, User name and Passwrd and click n Submit. 6. A validatin check runs and displays the CRM key if the validatin is successful. Page 12 f 25

13 7. Yu can nw g ahead and start using the Custmer Satisfactin Survey functinality. 8. At any pint f time yu can g ahead and change the passwrd by simply clicking n Change Passwrd n Custmer Satisfactin Survey Settings windw page. 9. Yu can als uplad images by clicking n Uplad Images link n Custmer Satisfactin Survey Settings windw page. Page 13 f 25

15 Custmer Satisfactin Survey Functinality Cnsidering that all the recmmended Custmer Satisfactin Survey cnfiguratin settings are being dne, let us check Custmer Satisfactin Survey Functinality. Click n Survey frm the Sitemap f yur D365 instance as shwn belw. Survey Frm This frm will help yu t create yur desired survey fr targeted custmers. Survey Questins All the survey questins that yu prepare fr survey frms can be seen here. Survey Answers All the survey answers that yu prvide fr respective survey questins can be seen here. Survey Activities The summary f yur survey activities can be seen here. Click n Survey frm. All yur active surveys (if any) will be displayed. Click n +NEW t create a new survey. Page 15 f 25

16 Fill up the fields in survey frm as explained belw. Name Name f the survey yu want t create. Header This is the text that will g in the subject line f yur . Greeting This is the greeting message that appears in yur bdy. Header Image Image that appears at the tp f yur survey. Fter Image Image that appears at the bttm f yur survey. Survey Cmpleted Prvide text here that shuld appear nce the survey is cmpleted by the user (e.g., Thanks fr prviding the feedback). Survey Taken Prvide text here that shuld appear if the user is trying t take survey mre than nce (e.g., Srry. This survey has already been taken by yu). Save the survey frm. The survey frm will be renamed instantaneusly with the Name that yu have just given. Page 16 f 25

17 Survey Questins & Answers Next, yu will have t prepare Survey Questins and Answers. Fr creating a new survey questin click n + buttn. Survey Questin frm will pen. Fill up the fields as explained belw. Existing Questin If it is checked Yes then already present questin template can be selected. If N then a new questin has t be created. Survey The Survey Name will be aut-ppulated. Order It refers t the hierarchy f questin that appears n the final survey frm. Questin Text It is the survey questin that yu need t enter. Questin Type It can be Radi Buttn, Rating, Drpdwn, Text, Multiple Text, and Checkbx. Required If selected Yes then it becmes a mandatry questin. If selected N then it becmes an ptinal questin. After filling the abve mentined fields, click n Save. The frm gets saved and unlcks the Survey Answers part. Click n +NEW t create Survey Answers. Page 17 f 25

18 Survey answer frm pens up. In here, yu need t fill the fields as explained belw. Name The survey answer has t be entered here. Survey Questin The survey questin fr which the survey answer must be created shuld be selected here. Owner It refers t the persn wh created the survey. Questin If in the Survey Questin, Existing Questin is selected as Yes then the questin template appears here. Finally, save the changes. Likewise, all the survey answers have t be created based n the questin type and the n. f ptins t be prvided fr each questin. All the respnses t this survey questin can be seen graphically in the Survey Questin Respnses sectin. Page 18 f 25

19 Similarly, cmplete the survey frm by preparing all relevant questins and answers as afrementined. Page 19 f 25

20 Survey Publish & Preview Once the survey frm is cmpleted, click n mre cmmands ( ) buttn frm ribbn and frm the drpdwn click n Survey Publish. Yu will receive the belw message. Click n OK. If yu wuld like t preview the survey, click n mre cmmands ( ) buttn frm ribbn and frm the drpdwn click n Preview Survey. Then yu can see the survey as shwn belw. Page 20 f 25

21 The MTC lg n the header and fter is displayed because while creating the survey frm bth header image and fter image was upladed. Nte: Every survey frm created must be published first; then nly yu will be able t view and send survey. Page 21 f 25

22 Sending Survey t Cntacts In rder t send survey t any cntact in yur CRM, simply select the cntact recrd frm the view and click n mre cmmand ( ) buttn. Frm the drpdwn click n Send Survey. A Lkup Recrd windw pps up. Select the survey that yu have created and click n Add buttn. Page 22 f 25

24 Sending Survey t Leads In rder t send survey t any lead in yur CRM, simply select the lead recrd frm the view and click n mre cmmand ( ) buttn. Frm the drpdwn click n Send Survey. A Lkup Recrd windw pps up. Select the survey that yu have created and click n Add buttn. Page 24 f 25

25 Survey will be sent t that particular lead. Nte: Fr the survey t be successfully delivered, make sure yur ruter is cnfigured with yur CRM. Page 25 f 25
