4 WHY YOU NEED A CONTENT STRATEGY» To prep your community for what you re offering make them aware of why they would want something like what you re offering» To avoid the hard-sell approach let your content do some of the selling for you» To give your potential customers they info they need to know before buying what you re offering
5 YOUR CONTENT STRATEGY CAN INCLUDE: 1. Blog posts 2. Private & mass s 3. Lead Generation Offerings 4. Social Media posts
6 WHAT KIND OF CONTENT SHOULD YOU CREATE?» Similar to creating your lead generation offering, when you re brainstorming different content to publish during your launch you want to think about What does my community need to know/do/achieve before they are ready to sign up for my offering?
7 SOME QUESTIONS TO GET YOU STARTED THINKING ABOUT WHAT CONTENT TO WRITE:» Look at the signature offering you re creating right now. What s the most important piece/module/chapter of the offering? Can you turn pieces of that into a few blog posts?» What s the most-asked question you get from clients and your community that relates to your offering?» Can you paint a picture for your client that shows them where they are now, compared to where they could be after working with you? USE THE QUESTION PROMPTS IN THE WORKSHEET TO BRAINSTORM YOUR CONTENT IDEAS

12 So, when should you be publishing your blog posts and sending your s?
13 THE TIMING & AMOUNT OF PUBLISHING/ SENDING WILL RELY ON A COUPLE THINGS» If your offering is a main service offering (there s really no time limit to when they can buy) or a time-sensitive offering (there s a small window of opportunity for people to purchase» How long your launch period is (if it s only 2 weeks long, you won t be sending as much as if it s 4 weeks long)
14 YOUR LAUNCH CALENDAR» In this lesson, there s a template you can print or fill out digitally for your launch timeline.» Let s walk through how to use it.
15 How to use me: LAUNCH CALENDAR 1. Fill in the month of your launch (if it s longer than a 1 month launch period, you ll need to print out 2 copies of the calendar) 2. Fill in the dates on your calendar (start the calendar with the date you ll start your launch so you have lots of room to fill in the other dates) 3. Fill in your launch date at the top and mark it with a big star on the calendar 4. Fill in your content marketing plan on the calendar Remember this is an example! I ve added a lot of stuff in here to show you variations of what yours could look like. I m not suggesting to do all of them, just showing you examples.
