2 2 First Time Login. (For people who have not been members of Basketball NSW) 1. Use the New User Button. This takes you to a New User Sign On Page where you are required to input your personal details including First Name Surname Basketball Association that you wish to register at etc.

The system will then inform you of members that are in the registration database, if you see your details but there is a problem with the core details (Surname, First Name and Date of Birth) enter your information with the incorrect data and then Basketball NSW seeking a change for the core details.

4 2. On completion of the Personal Details Screen you will be e-mailed a User Name and Password which must be used to again access the Registrations System.

This User Name and Password combination is only available for 24 hours after your initial request. After this time it will expire and you will need to use the New User Login again. To receive an automatic Registration Reminder , select from the appropriate fields on this screen.

5 3. After being given the initial User Name and Password you can then login using the Login Button. If you forget your password at any time you can gain access again by using the Forgot Password Button from the main login screen. A new User Name and Password combination will be ed back to you. 5

You may choose to have Registration Reminders and other Basketball Associated information sent to you automatically by choosing Yes on the appropriate Radio Button(s) in the lower section of your Personal Details screen. You can encourage your members to use the OnLine Registration system. They can check their details and make changes to any non core fields or registration details. Please Note: Members will not be able to use the "Pay Fees" section unless your Association has set up this feature and entered the relevant Association Fees into the system.

7 7 Check your Registration Details - Online: Basketball NSW is pleased to announce that their Online Registration system has now been completed. Currently this can only be used by members to check and amend their personal information. Due to the Privacy Act, Basketball NSW is unable to provide registration details over the phone. You can access your registration information, including current status and expiry date, in one of two ways. 1. Contact your local association who will be able to provide you with your information upon confirmation of your identity. 2. Access it online though the Basketball NSW website ( To access your information online complete the following steps: i. Click on the online registration button. ii. Register as a new user by completing the details as requested. iii. If you already registered and you do not remember your password follow the procedure for a forgotten password. If the system indicates that you are already registered, do not create a new account under an alias or using your initials. iv. After providing a secret question and answer you will then receive an with a Login and Password. v. Once you have the login and password you will be able to enter the On Line registration feature. This will allow you to alter your registration details and/or enquire as to the details of you registration. You will also be able to view your Registration history. PLEASE NOTE: Participants are not able to change the three key fields: <SURNAME>, <FIRSTNAME> or <DATE OF BIRTH>. These areas have to be amended (if required) by Basketball NSW. Queries on this aspect should be forwarded by to registrations@nswbasketball.net.au It will be important that all members get to know their new Basketball NSW registration number. This number will assist the members to gain speedy and secure access to the Online Registration System when it gets up and running.
