On site back up requires regular interventions and offsite data rotation. If the data is forgotten or corrupt your business could face a total and unrecoverable loss. Traditional backup solutions involve deploying multiple agents and storage targets on site to meet backup time windows. The backup becomes more complicated with remote offices and users who also require their critical systems to be backed up. Cloud Backup as a Service from itg Cloud Base, is an intelligent solution for both physical and virtual environments with application aware agents deployed to each network component, regardless of location, backing up centrally to secure data centres replicated daily between Manchester and Leeds datacentres. Cloud Backup allows for both granular and full backups and restores of critical data, virtual or physical, with the ability to restore either individual files or entire systems. itg Cloud Backup never backs up the same data twice allowing a highly efficient and scalable solution to effectively and efficiently meet the requirements of protecting all of your organisations data. We create specific backup schedules tailored by time, data set and/or user groups so that this essential function has as little impact on the business as possible. 6 Mail Archiving Mail Archiving Mail Archiving is our Cloud based solution that addresses the three main challenges of usage: regulatory compliance, storage and internal policy management, all without the associated complications of managing and maintaining an archiving system in house. The itg CloudBase archiving solution allows companies or users to decide, at a policy level, what mail requires archiving and who has access to this mail. It can be simply set to archive all mail to or from a domain, or it could be applied to individual users or groups. You only pay for the mail archives you have in place. In addition to deciding what mail is to be archived, access levels can be set to restrict access to the mail archive. These rights can range from providing all users with easy access to their archives though the standard mail interface, through to only allowing specific authorised users to view the archived mail. No mail can ever be deleted from the archive. All mail archived is encrypted to prove that there hasn t been any tampering, a crucial benefit should that mail subsequently be used in legal proceedings. In addition, all mail is copied to multiple geographically diverse locations in the itg CloudBase data centre network. 8 Disaster Recovery Disaster Recovery The itg CloudBase Disaster Recovery solution provides organisations with an effective safety net in the event of a serious system issue. The Disaster Recovery solution is primarily focused around getting business critical systems back up and running to minimise the disruption to your business.
