3 1 INTRODUCTION A Training Advisr (TA) has the ability t mnitr the training prgress f fellw cmmunity members in FedVTE via the fllwing reprting capabilities: Cmmunity Users Curses: User Actin Summary View the ttal number f user lgins and cntent views fr all users within a cmmunity User Curse Cmpletins View the ttal curse cmpletins fr all users and all curses within a cmmunity Curse Reprt View a user s prgress fr all curses in which they are enrlled User Cntent Reprt View a user s prgress n individual cntent items fr curses in which they are enrlled (available frm within the Curse Reprt) User Curse Cmpletins Displays all users in a cmmunity wh have cmpleted a specific curse Curse Users Displays all cmmunity members prgress against a given curse User Cntent Reprt View a user s prgress n individual cntent items fr curses in which they are enrlled (available frm within the Curse Users reprt) Quiz Users Reprt Details cmmunity members results fr a specific quiz Assessment Results Reprt Details hw a user answered individual quiz questins (available frm within the Quiz Users reprt) This guide details tasks that may be perfrmed by a user that has the assigned rle f Training Advisr in FedVTE. Nte: It is necessary fr users with the Cmmunity Manger (CM) rle t als be assigned the TA rle t take advantage f the reprting capabilities. Page 3 f 15

4 2 TRAINING ADVISOR HOME PAGE Training Advisr (TA) tasks begin at yur hme screen after yu lg int the system with yur TA user credentials. T return t the hme page frm any ther part f the system, just click n the Virtual Training Envirnment text in the panel acrss the tp f the screen. Next t the user image icn and under yur name, yu will find infrmatin specific t yur user accunt. My Cmmunity The cmmunity in which yu are a member My Rles Rle(s) yur accunt has been assigned in yur cmmunity (r system if Admin is designated) The tabs in the middle f the hme screen pertain t yur accunt s curse infrmatin in FedVTE. My Curses Curses yu are currently enrlled in Available Curses Curses available t members f yur cmmunity Archived Curses Curses yu have archived Page 4 f 15

5 The sidebar n the right the Actin Panel cntains links t tasks yur user accunt can perfrm in the system. The Dashbard task bx cntains tasks related t yur user accunt. View My Prfile View the details f yur prfile Edit Prfile Change r add infrmatin t yur prfile Change Passwrd Reset the passwrd fr yur user accunt My Reprts My Curses Prgress reprt fr the curses yu are currently enrlled in The User Management sectin f the Dashbard cntains a link t view users within yur cmmunity fr whm yu are the assigned Training Advisr. User Management View Users View all users that are members in the cmmunity and btain their individual curse reprt Page 5 f 15

6 3 REPORTING: USERS This sectin describes reprting that may be generated detailing individual user prgress within the system. 3.1 Curse Reprt Training Advisrs may view a user s prgress fr all curses in which the user is enrlled. T view a user s curse reprt 1. Click the Virtual Training Envirnment text in the panel at the tp f the screen t return t yur user hme screen. 2. Click the View Users link under User Management in the Dashbard Actin Panel. The User Management screen fr yur cmmunity pens. 3. Scrll, use the search bx, and/r filters t lcate the user whse prgress reprt yu want t view, and click his/her name link. Page 6 f 15

7 4. The details page fr that user will pen. Click the Curse Reprt link in the Training Advisr Actin Panel. This will pen the curse reprt fr that user. The reprt lists all enrlled curses fr the user and a cmpletin date fr any curses that have been cmpleted. 5. Click Exprt (csv) t create a.csv file frm this data r Print t send the reprt t the printer User Cntent Reprt The User Cntent Reprt allws the TA t view users prgress fr individual cntent items within a curse. 1. T generate the User Cntent Reprt, start by running the User Curse reprt as shwn in the previus sectin. 2. Click the curse name link in the User Curse Reprt fr which yu wuld like t view the prgress f each cntent item in the curse. The User Cntent Reprt will pen and list: The FedVTE system cntent ID number fr each cntent item The name f each cntent item The user s cmpletin percentage fr each cntent item Status indicating Started r Cmplete 3. Click Exprt (csv) t create a.csv file frm this data r Print t send the reprt t the printer. Page 7 f 15

8 4 REPORTING: COURSES This sectin details reprts that may be generated fr curse level infrmatin. 4.1 User Curse Cmpletins Reprt The User Curse Cmpletins reprt is a listing f all users in the cmmunity wh have enrlled in, and cmpleted a specific curse. This reprt will list each user wh has cmpleted the curse as well as each user s curse cmpletin date. T access the User Curse Cmpletins reprt 1. Click the Virtual Training Envirnment text in the panel at the tp f the screen t return t yur user hme screen. 2. Click the My Curses, Available Curses r Archived Curses tab t lcate the curse fr which yu want t generate a reprt. 3. Click the curse name link t reach the curse hme screen. 4. Click the User Curse Cmpletins link in the Training Advisr task bx in the Actin Panel. 5. Specify the cmmunity and decedents if desired. 6. Click Generate Reprt. 7. The User Curse Cmpletin reprt pens and lists all users wh have cmpleted the curse as well as each user s: FedVTE system ID number FedVTE user accunt name Name f cmpleted curse Cmmunity name Curse cmpletin date 8. Click Exprt (csv) t create a.csv file frm this data r Print t send the reprt t the printer. Page 8 f 15

9 4.2 Curse Users Reprt The Curse Users reprt is a listing f all users in the cmmunity wh have enrlled in a specific curse. Each user s prgress will be listed as well as date f cmpletin if they have cmpleted the curse. T access the Curse Users reprt 1. Click the Virtual Training Envirnment text in the panel at the tp f the screen t return t yur user hme screen. 2. Click the My Curses, Available Curses r Archived Curses tab t find the curse fr which yu want t generate a reprt. 3. Click the curse name link t reach the curse hme screen. 4. Click the Curse Users link in the Training Advisr task bx in the Actin Panel. 5. If desired, chse the cmmunity and decedents frm which t run the reprt. 6. Click Generate Reprt. Page 9 f 15

11 4.3 Quiz Users Reprt A Training Advisr may want t evaluate hw members f the cmmunity are perfrming n certain quizzes. This infrmatin may help gauge whether the quiz needs edited r if additinal training is needed fr specific subject matter. T generate a Quiz Users reprt 1. Click the Virtual Training Envirnment text in the panel at the tp f the screen t return t yur hme screen. 2. Click the My Curses, Available Curses r Archived Curses tab t lcate the curse that cntains the quiz fr which yu want t generate a reprt. 3. Click the curse name link t reach the curse hme screen. 4. Click the Quiz Users Reprt link in the Training Advisr sectin f the Actin Panel. 5. If desired, specify yur reprt criteria including the cmmunity and if the curse has multiple quizzes, which yu wuld like data frm. 6. Click Generate Reprt. 7. The Quiz Users Reprt details results f cmmunity users wh have cmpleted the quiz. This reprt lists: The name f the quiz The passing threshld, hw many have passed r failed the quiz, the passing rati and hw many have taken the quiz FedVTE users wh have taken the quiz Each user s cmmunity Each user s quiz scre Passed r Failed status Date when quiz was taken Page 11 f 15

12 8. Click Exprt (csv) t create a.csv file frm this data r Print t send the reprt t the printer. Nte: The Quiz Users Reprt is nly listed in the TA sectin f the Actin Panel fr curses with quiz cntent items Assessment Results Reprt T better evaluate quiz results and effectiveness, a reprt may be generated displaying a user s utcme fr each questin. T generate an Assessment Results reprt: 1. Fllw the directins abve fr generating a Quiz Users reprt. 2. Within the reprt, click n a user s name link. The Assessment Results reprt will pen and detail: The name f the user The date the quiz was taken, scre user earned, passing threshld, and status (Passed/Failed) Each questin Pint value fr each questin The crrect answer t the questin The actual answer (answer the user indicated) Whether r nt the user answered crrectly 3. Click Print t send the reprt t the printer. Page 12 f 15

13 5 REPORTING: COMMUNITY Training Advisrs have additinal summary reprting available at the cmmunity level fr users and curse cmpletin data. 1. Frm the TA s hme page, click the cmmunity name link next t the My Cmmunity label. This will pen the cmmunity details page where there are tw task bxes in the Actin Panel, Cmmunity and Training Advisr. The Cmmunity task bx cntains the user management View Users link which functins as described in sectin 3 t generate User Curse reprts fr cmmunity members. 6.1 User Actin Summary Training Advisrs may be interested in a summary f user actins in the system. Infrmatin such as hw ften a user has lgged in the system r hw much cntent they viewed, can give the TA a better idea f whether training requirements are being met. T generate a User Actin Summary reprt 1. Open the cmmunity details page by clicking the cmmunity name link next t the My Cmmunity label n the TA users hme page. 2. In the Training Advisr task bx, click the User Actin Summary link. The reprt criteria windw will pen where yu can specify cmmunity and whether t include child cmmunities in yur reprting results. 3. When finished specifying desired criteria, click the Generate Reprt link. Page 13 f 15

14 The User Actin Summary reprt will pen listing fr each user: FedVTE ID number Name Cmmunity membership Lgin Cunt Cntent View Cunt 4. Click Exprt (csv) t exprt t a.csv file r select Print t send t printer. 6.2 User Curse Cmpletins Reprt T view a reprt f user curse cmpletins fr a specific cmmunity: 1. Open the cmmunity details page by clicking the cmmunity name link next t the My Cmmunity label n the TA users hme page. 2. In the Training Advisr task bx, click the User Curse Cmpletins link. The reprt criteria windw will pen where yu can specify cmmunity and whether t include child cmmunities in yur reprting results. 3. When finished specifying desired criteria, click the Generate Reprt link The User Curse Cmpletin reprt fr the cmmunity pens and lists all users wh have cmpleted the curse as well as each user s: FedVTE system ID number FedVTE user accunt name Name f cmpleted curse Cmmunity name Curse cmpletin date 4. Click Exprt (csv) t create a.csv file frm this data r Print t send the reprt t the printer. Nte: Larger reprts will nly display the first 500 results. If there are mre than 500 users being reprted n, the Exprt (csv) ptin is required t view all f the results. Page 14 f 15

15 6 CONTACT T reprt a prblem r prvide ther feedback, click the Feedback link at the bttm f the FedVTE windw r send t Please detail as much infrmatin as pssible including the specific system element(s) invlved (cmmunity, curse, cntent piece, etc.) and any errr messages yu may have received.
