3 INTRODUCTION What is an ad portal? Ad portal is a web server used by publishers & advertisers that stores advertisements to place ad fi les (usually pdf fi les) in magazines (print/ digital) based on user chosen defi nite ad specifi cations. In simple, electronic fi le transmission system for the delivery of advertisement fi les to its publications. Supporting File Types: PDF/X-1A Image Formats: JPEG PNG TIFF How do i access Ad Portal? The index page of ad portal website is where you can fi nd the link to upload your ad material as shown below.

4 ACCOUNT REGISTRATION Why should I sign up for an Ad Portal account? Before you use the Ad Portal, you need to register with the system. Your new account will give you access to ads to UBM How to sign up for an Ad Portal account? 1.Go to You will see an option to create an account or you can choose to use your existing Ad Portal account. 2. Click this link: Create an Account 3. The signup form will appear. Follow the directions and enter the required information, such as your address, fi rst name, last name, and password; re-type the same password and enter the given captcha.

5 4. Once you have fi lled in all the information, you will receive an account activation to your registered id. 5. On account link verifi cation, your Ad Portal account will be activated and you will be automatically logged in.

6 UPLOADING AD MATERIAL Loading... Once logged in, you will see an upload page where you can browse the ad material and upload. Please enter the material related information like magazine, issue, size, shape, etc. in the fi elds provided. How do I edit my information on the page Upload your ad material? Please verify that the contact information is correct. By default, the information will be what you used when you registered with the system. 1. To change the contact information, click Settings and update phone number. 2. If you aren t able to edit the registered name and id, add an account and log into ad portal as new user and submit your ad.

7 PASSWORD MANAGEMENT RULES TO SET YOUR PASSWORD 1. Your password must be of minimum 8 characters. 2. It must contain at least -> One numeric (0-9) character, One alphabet (a-z, A-Z), One special character. 3. We recommend changing your password once in 3 months. 4. You cannot use your last three passwords.

8 FORGOT PASSWORD How do I reset my Ad Portal password if I forgot? To reset your current password, click Forgot password Please provide the address that you used when you signed up for your Ad Portal account. We will send you an that has a link to reset your password. The reset password link will expire in 24 hours. You will need to submit a new request to reset your password again. Type your new password; retype the same password and click Change Password. Your new password is effective next time you log on and you will receive an confi rmation that Your password has been reset successfully.

9 CHANGE PASSWORD How do I change my Ad Portal password? Click on Settings menu. Select the Change Password menu option. 1. The Change Password dialog displays. 2. In the Enter old password fi eld, type your current password. 3. In the New password fi eld, type your new password. 4. In the Retype new fi eld, type your new password again, for confi rmation. 5. Click on the Change Password button. The Password Changed message displays. 6. Click on the OK button to clear the message. Your new password is effective next time you log in and you will receive an confi rmation that Your password has been reset successfully How do I log out of the Ad portal account? Click Logout on top right corner of the page. It redirects to login page where you can login.
