2 What s new? A web prtal has been added t allw greeting changes via the web. Vic PINs must als be changed here, rather than in Outlk. Missed call ntificatins will n lnger be delivered t yur inbx, but will still appear n yur desk phne. PIN resets will be cmpleted via a web prtal at This web prtal will als give yu a view f yur vic and ther vic ptins frm a web interface. Replying t a vic via the Reply functin in Outlk will fail. If yu wuld like t reply t a vic using , either create a new t the intended recipient, r frward the cntaining the vic that yu are replying t. Transferring callers directly t vic is nw a supprted feature. What actins will I need t take? Pre-Migratin Take nte f any saved vic s in yur existing vic . Vic s that are saved in yur will nt be affected. Hwever, they will n lnger exist n yur telephne after migratin. Pst-Migratin Recrd a new greeting After yur new vice mailbx has been enabled, yur greeting will be a default, cmputer generated greeting. Yu shuld recrd a custm greeting that callers will hear when leaving vic s. Set a new PIN The default PIN will be set t Upn lgging int yur vice mailbx fr the first time, yu will be prmpted t change yur PIN. This PIN is different than the PIN that is used fr Lync. It is required t be at least 4 digits.

Leave a vic withut ringing the extensin Frm an internal KCTCS phne: Preface the extensin yu d like t call with * (ex. *12345) The call will be immediately answered by the vic greeting f the extensin yu are calling Transfer a caller directly t anther vice mailbx Frm an internal KCTCS phne: While n the phne with the caller, press the Transfer buttn Press * then the extensin f the vic that yu d like t transfer t (ex. *12345) While the vic greeting is playing, press Transfer again t cmplete the transfer

5 What happens t deleted vic s? If deleted frm a phne r frm yur Inbx: The vic will be mved int a Deleted Items area in yur vic bx. Items will remain in this area, and are able t be restred using the phne, fr 15 days. After that time, the message will be permanently deleted. It will als be mved frm yur Inbx t yur Deleted Items. Items will remain in yur Deleted Items until manually remved. If mved frm yur Inbx int a sub-flder f the Inbx: The vic will remain as a saved item in yur vic bx. If mved frm yur Inbx int a persnal flder: The vic will be mved int a Deleted Items area in yur vic bx. Change yur greeting Frm a phne: Lg int yur vic Press 4 fr Setup Optins Press 1 fr Greeting Press 3 fr Edit Greetings Select the greeting yu d like t recrd (Standard, Hliday, Alternate, etc) Press 1 t recrd the new greeting Recrd the greeting, then press # If this is an alternate greeting, press 3 t turn it n Press * t exit Frm the Internet: NOTE: Recrding yur greeting frm the Internet requires that yur cmputer be equipped with a micrphne. Navigate t Lg in using yur KCTCS username and passwrd Click Messaging Assistant Click Greetings, then View Greetings Click the greeting that yu d like t recrd Ensure the Playback and Recrd ptins are set t Use Cmputer as shwn belw Select the red Recrd buttn Recrd yur greeting, then select Save
