Over 150,000 media and entertainment cmpanies, enterprises, SMBs, educatinal institutins, service prviders, platfrm vendrs, and system integratrs use Kaltura s flexible platfrm t enhance their websites, web-services, and web-platfrms with advanced custmized vide, pht and audi functinalities. Kaltura s features and prducts enable yu t easily deply custm wrk-flws invlving vide creatin, ingestin, publishing, management, syndicatin, engagement, mnetizatin, and analysis. The Kaltura On-Prem Editin is Kaltura's full featured self-hsted vide platfrm sftware installed n yur wn servers r clud and supprted and maintained by Kaltura. Kaltura On-Prem Versin Eagle Kaltura On-Prem versin Eagle is based n the Eagle release f the Kaltura nline vide platfrm. Versin Eagle prvides new features, infrastructure enhancements, and new API services. Supprted/Tested OS Kaltura On-Prem was tested n the CentOS 6.2/64bit perating system. NOTE: While it is pssible t install Kaltura On-Prem n ther Linux distributins and n a 32-bit server, these cnfiguratins were nt tested by Kaltura. New Features and Capabilities Versin Eagle includes the fllwing main new features and infrastructure changes. New Uplad Tab Uplad and prepare media entries directly frm the main Kaltura Management Cnsle (KMC) menu, regardless f the page yu are wrking n. Uplad Cntrl Manage and cntrl yur uplads, set pririties, track prgress, and cntinue wrking in the KMC while yur uplads cntinue t prcess in the backgrund. In Vide Search Use Kaltura s new In Vide Search API t search fr a specific phrase in a library f vides and find the exact pint in the vide where the phrase appears. Multilingual Captins Uplad captin files directly t the KMC in different languages and frmats. Allw users t select their preferred language and captin setting. The entry type nw is defined using the entry_type parameter. Different behavirs fr aut-mderatin, depending n which API is used: When a partner is set with aut-mderatin and a new playlist is added: 1. The playlist is aut-mderated if the playlist is added using the baseentry->add API actin. 2. The playlist is nt aut-mderated if the playlist is added using the playlist->add API actin. Resizing the player while paused des nt immediately resize the captins: When a vide with captins is playing, clicking Pause and then changing the screen mde des nt immediately resize the captins t the new screen size.
