2 Introduction Telecommunication Market is nowadays stressed between the aggressive and fast on the market Over The Top (OTT) players that provides voice, video and data services almost for free bypassing Network and Service Providers and the constantly increasing Customer's demand for more and more bandwidth to exploit the OTT's services and apps. Service Providers needs to re-enforce the strength of their asset, the Network, avoiding to become a Dump Pipe, providing new services with faster time to market, new Quality of Service and new Quality of Experience and in the meanwhile moving smoothly to a new architecture enabling consolidation, reduction in footprint and consumption, modularity and flexibility to quickly react to market changes; converged capabilities to handle using a Single All-IP Core Network both fixed and mobile subscribers, both legacy and innovative devices and interconnection with any other external networks including, why not, OTT. Further, Service Provider have to adopt the new paradigm of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) enabling all Telco Applications to be deployed in datacenter or cloud environment. Italtel since 2010 is deploying its IMS and NGN product line over datacenter adopting the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) paradigm and now is enhancing all the IMS product line to be "cloud inside", ready to exploit all the benefits of the cloud such as elasticity, flexibility, grow as you need and so on. Italtel can guide Service Provider in this evolution thanks to its expertise in network migration and evolution and thanks to the Italtel Multimedia Communication Suite (i-mcs) product line supporting software modularity, Network Function Virtualization and Cloud, LTE and IMS functionalities. Italtel IMS & VoLTE Italtel IMS & VoLTE Solution offers a full coverage of IMS and Voice / Video over LTE functionalities enabling fixed and mobile subscribers to be managed by a single All-IP providing Regulatory, Supplementary and Value Added Services. 4 NGN Core for handling pre-ims and legacy subscribers: SIP IETF, POTS & ISDN through AGW or VGW; H.323; IP-PBX; PABX Italtel i-mcs is build from the very beginning having in mind decoupling of Telco Application software from hardware and relying on software modularity. In fact, Italtel i-mcs, as the whole Italtel product lines, is adherent to Network Function Virtualization specification being deployable in Datacenter and Cloud environment exploiting different hardware such as HP or Cisco as well as different hypervisor and cloud manager such as ESXi and Cloud Director by WMware or KVM and Openstack. Italtel software provides the required flexibility to support new Cloud requirements in terms of networking, Application scaling and interfaces with the VNF Manager. Italtel i-mcs is designed with modularity and flexibility in mind, having all software modules being deployable independently and using standard interfaces; i-mcs can be deployed from a all-in-a-box solution for small scenarios to a solution with each single functionality deployed as an independent Network Element or any combination in between.
